Proper pub, proper beers. Get away from Weatherspoons and faux olde worlde Inns. This is a genuine pub with great ales and a down to earth feel.

An old fashioned well run pub, always has St Austell Proper Job available. Although many pubs in the area dislike football supporters I haven't ever experienced trouble here.

Proper London Boozer of which there ain't enough anymore . One of the pubs loved Millwall fans , but don't let that put you off. Prices are fair unlike the merchant banker in the bridge ..if you want a proper London pub this is one of the few left

This pub is right out of the Victorian Era of London. It dates back to 1888. It's decor is cozy and homey. We were there at Happy Hour. It wasn't too crowded. There is seating outside for those who want. There is also seating upstairs. There is a nice view of The Shard. The restrooms are on the ground floor. Very friendly staff. A pub to admire!

The Old Kings Head is a cozy and welcoming pub located just a block away from the tube station. We stumbled upon it during peak hours when the underground was packed, and we're glad we did. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff is accommodating, making it a great place to unwind after a long day. We enjoyed a couple of pints of some fantastic local brews, and we were impressed with the selection. The beers were well-maintained and had a great taste, making for a perfect evening of drinks. The prices were also very reasonable, and we appreciated the value for money. The only downside was the slight mice problem. However, it was not enough to ruin the night, and the staff seemed to be taking care of the issue. We enjoyed our time at The Old Kings Head and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and laid-back atmosphere. In conclusion, The Old Kings Head is a great pub that provides a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The local brews are fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Despite the slight mice problem, the staff seemed to be taking care of it, and it did not detract from our overall experience. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

Crackin' little boozer just 'round the corner from the London Bridge Hotel with much more reasonably priced drinks. Even better was the friendly welcome from the staff. Shout out to Jack with whom I had a proper good natter. A nice surprise for this northern stranger to have some friendly chat down in London. I'll be back!!

We had lunch today in this pub while trying to escape the crowded Borough Market. The pub was full of locals and served traditional fish and chips. Staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating.

Right down the street from Borough Market, a great place to get out of the sudden rain shower & have lunch; enjoyed the fish & chips.

We went to this pub with friends for a private event. We got the top floor, and there is a little bar wth some limited options. Overall, we had a great time and loved the place. It has so much character. It is conveniently located just strps from London Bridge.

I recently found this delightful old, traditional pub a couple of minutes from Borough Market and 5 minutes from London Bridge Rail Station. It's located in Kings Head Yard just off Borough High Street. The landlord and bar staff are very friendly - not too busy - a gid selection of beers, I plumped for Doom Bitter which seemed appropriate for the times we're living in! However my 2 hour stay in the Kings Head took me away from all that - a most enjoyable watering hole.
