Goodfare Italian Restaurant is a great pizza place on Parkway right smack bang in the middle of Camden Town. We can't recommend anything other than the Pizza, because the pizzas are so damn good that it's all we ever eat there. The service is OK, the waiters aren't very attentive and the chef is quite a character, who sings in the kitchen and yells from one side of the restaurant to the other to talk to his waiters but you've gotta kind of love that, it all adds to the genuine Italian experience. If you go at lunchtime, as we often do, then it's super cheap - we're talking £5.95 for a pizza and a drink. Where : 26 Parkway, Camden, London, NW1 7AH Conclusion : Cheap, friendly, pizza-joint close to the tube.

I had lunch in Goodfare Restaurant today and it was awesome. The menu had plenty of choices (that's why me and my friend we took forever to decide). We both decided to get the lunch menu, main course and desert. I had roasted chicken, which came along with gravy, potatoes and veggies, and apple crumble with custard cream. My friend got spaghetti bolognese and tiramisu she's half Italian so she's very picky with Italian food - but she loved it. And I myself adored the meal.
They also serve take-away meals and sandwiches. It's a big restaurant, we came early and it was half full already, but there was people waiting on line to seat when we left. So, yeah, it is good. It is popular. The staff is polite and you'll leave with a happy-and-full tummy.
I didn't have pizza, but they don't own a wood oven so I wouldn't think highly of it.
Tonight we chose to eat dinner at the Goodfare Italian Restaurant. Waiter Tansel made our stay so comfortable with his charming personality from the very beginning that we stayed longer than expected. Really good service. 100% recommended :)
There were 4 of us plus my 2 year old grandson on a Sunday at about 3 o'clock. Walk straight in and sit down at an open window lovely. We tried to order some white wine, and after the fourth attempt, they had one in stock? My meat balls were a pit tomato puree for my taste. Overall the food was good with a pleasant atmosphere friendly staff. Like the other reviews, the service was slow, and it wasn't busy. I would go back.

The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor service. The staff is very kind and hospitable, they served us with care and professionalism.
The pizza was just as good as the beer. :) I was surprised by the Contadino pizza which was more like a pie, but it was good even if it is far from what I understand pizza to be. The ingredients found there are the most common in pizza.
I found one. A gem in a pile of mediocre pizza around London. Was disputing whether to go since I just reviewed pizza pilgrims but boy oh boy am I glad I did. Sicilian style pizza this time, very light but crunchy crust which dissolved in your mouth with the sauce after the 3rd bite, while the first 2 bites were lovely and crispy With absolutely 0 flop. The toppings simply tasted of a great pizza, no other way to put it. If you imagine an amazing, simple, pizza, this is what you think of. Only thing I will say, a small garnish would’ve been great, like some garlic oil/basil, just to give it some depth of flavour. And the crust being a bit lighter also. Either way, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Can't recommend this little jem enough, fantastic place for all the family. Every time we visit London we go here as the food is amazing with proper lemonade and the staff are welcoming, friendly and happy to help . Thank you for being amazing.
The carbonara was super creamy and tasty!! Definitely recommended. The risotto with mushrooms is one of the best I’ve tried in London. We will be coming back :)

Really nice place. Took a while to get our order taken but it was worth the wait. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed you don't feel rushed.
The food was great mains and starters.
The cake was a little dry and extremely sweet but it was nice to give it a go. I'd definitely go back for the food.
Great place for small are large groups and families with small children too. It really is an all rounder.
