Arrived on a busy Saturday for boozy brunch at the Covent Garden location.
Even though they were busy the staff were very accommodating.
We ordered 2 pitchers of beer, which they served one after the other so that the second didn't go warm before we got to it, which I thought was a nice touch.
The food was top quality and truly unlimited, which the staff approached us whenever out grill plate started to get low.
They have the best bbq ribs I have had in a restaurant!
Definitely worth the trip if you like a relaxed, bustling experience with top quality bbq food (and generous helpings).
Had a fab meal & service on Sunday 28th January even though the restaurant was very busy & we hadn't booked. I had the creamy crab starter which was delicious & had plenty of crab meat in it & followed this with a lobster. If i had to find a fault it would be that my salad was much smaller than the ones served to the next table. But otherwise it was all great & I will definitely visit again.
Had lunch with friends and had the chicken Cesar salad and was a big serve a whole marinated chicken breast with salad-a big venue and worth a visit if you are feeling hungry 😋
This place most certainly lived up to its reputation of serving amazing lobster!
✔️Friendly staff
✔️Delicious cocktails
✔️A huge range of dishes - calamari, crab, lobster, burger, steak, salads
✔️Live music
✔️Great daily deals
🔻Music can be too loud, making it difficult to hear each other speak
Had the lobster this time and found it delicious but will definitely be coming back to try more things from their menu.
If you ever been in london YOU should visit this amazing seafood restaurant, the big easy is one of the famous places where you can have a HUGE lobster with prawn and Moules prices are fair comparing to the HUGE portion amount its a must try
There’s spoiling yourself and then there’s borderline sinful gluttony. Guess which one we went for when dining at the Covent Garden branch of Big Easy? With three branches across London (Covent Garden, Canary Wharf and Kings Road), Big Easy Bar.B.Q & Lobstershack have solidified their reputation as one London’s most popular spots for hearty American BBQ and comfort food.
Had unlimited ribs, was great, the price and quality is awesome, waiter are very kind, recommend a lot. Will definitely try a lobster next time !
Came here for dinner, it was very busy for a Saturday night. We had a table booked so we were seated quite quickly. There was live music band playing down stairs which added a nice vibe to the venue.
Food was lovely .. would recommend the steak I has the serloin & added the large shrimp on the side and they were lovely also. The chicken strips for starters and for drinks strawberry daiquiri. My only two concerns were the cocktail glasses are too small, and the flys flying around.
Awesome for lobsters! Must try the lobster fest! Good selection of spirits on the bar. The service was a bit slow, but otherwise would definitely go back for the lobsters here!
Had planned to go to Rules across the street for Dinner but was unable to get in, lucky for us Big Easy Crabshack and BBQ didn't let us down, we went in as a group of 8 and 3 of us got the Wednesday limitless Hog Roast for £20, this hog was beyond spectacular, so tender and juicy, it was as if it was cooked by some of the Best Texan Pitmasters and I kept going back for more and more, the cornbread was a little dry but nothing to take away from that meat !!
The service was fantastic, particularly a young Italian guy by the Name of Carmine (sp?) That struck up a conversation with my Aunt (also Italian) and was an absolute pleasure to deal with, will see win to return again before I depart the county.
We ordered lobster bake which includes 500g Lobster, Shrimps, Mussels, Crab Claws and Garlic White Wine Cream. Seafood was lovely 😋 and atmosphere was great with live music 🎶🎤 Service was alright, just that waiters/waitresses were too busy that it was difficult to get hold of the waiters 😂
Went for the pre-theatre menu, which is an absolute steal. £10 for two courses and a drink (wine, beer, or a slushy). The big juicy prawns were incredible and very meaty, the portions in general are very generous. I was a bit disappointed by the chips, as they were a little soggy. Nonetheless, the deal is incredible! Good pulled pork as well.
Great value on the specials! We did the unlimited barbecue, and we couldn’t eat more than two plates worth. The barbecue tasted great for the money. We found the corn bread and shredded pork a little dry but still enjoyed it, but the ribs and chicken stood out to us. Also authentic coleslaw! Service was friendly and flexible, enjoyed our experience.
The Big Easy BBQ restaurant in Covent Garden is an absolute delight for barbecue lovers. The rich, smoky flavours of their hand cut and meticulously prepared meats are a testament to their commitment to quality. Coupled with their warm, hospitable service and a cozy ambience, it offers an unparalleled dining experience. I’m a repeat visitor and once again they did not disappoint! From their succulent ribs to the perfectly seasoned brisket, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. A must-visit destination for any BBQ enthusiast. A special shout out goes out to Ramsey who looked after us during our recent visit.
Booked a table here for a birthday meal before a Theatre show. Wasn't disappointed. Food was amazing, we had the full rack of ribs, and the half chicken. They were delicious.Other dishes coming out looked good too. Very busy, so would advise booking. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend 👌
I always love the food here. I’ve been here many times and the food doesn’t disappoint you specifically my favorite “Sirloin Steak” with add-on sweet potato fries.
We all know that Covent Garden is a very busy environment where you can see many people every single day. That is why if you are planning to dine-in, it is always better to reserve seat as early as you can to avoid inconveniences.
On the other hand, the restaurant is not spacious. You feel like squeezed in the corner and you get easily disturbed by anybody who walks past where you are seating.
Love the food tho.
Nice place and really American style atmosphere and food.
The ribs were superb, served with sauces, beans and salad. Really good, well-prepared and served quickly.
The chicken wings with buffalo sauce were also good.
I recommend this place for the value!
Great food. Poor service.
Big Easy is so close to being a fantastic restaurant. The food is great. The atmosphere is honest and authentic.
They have a mid-week lunch deal that includes platters & alcohol for £10!
Sadly every-time we visit, the service is sub-par… including 20 minute waits for ordering and payment.
There is never enough staff and those who are there seem to be very inexperienced, aside from the manager, who is always very apologetic and helpful, however it lets down a great meal.
Hopefully they can sort out staffing issues as this is great food in a very good location.
Decided to try when we saw the sign in front saying Unlimited BBQ ... for 29.90. Went in and the waiter told us that we can choose from 4 options for the unlimited deal. So we ordered 1 Bbq and another Steak & Lobster. Aparently the unlimited is only for the Bbq choice only. Restis alacart. So when we tried to reorder more lobster, the staff took the order but the supervisor came back and told us that the Steak and Lobster meal was not unlimited. He was very friendly and apologised. He tried telling me that the menu clearly stated but I told him it was not my problem since it was the staff that offered me 4 choices. Anyway the supervisor did handle the situation professionally.
It is a good place for friends to hang out. Plenty of drink options and music was loud. Very cowboy bar.
We brought our friends who are visiting the town to eat here. We booked a table for dinner, I arrived 15 mins. early so I had to wait till the table was ready. Happy hour starts from 4 to 7p.m. so I ordered a drink from the bar. Once the rest of the party arrived, we ordered a few items from the menu. The food was good, and the atmosphere reminded me of the states with the music playing in the background. My negative comments would be that the music is loud and hard to have a conversation. Second is the restaurant is very warm, although the grilling is downstairs, it's uncomfortable and not possible to open the window adjacent to us.
I’ve been here several times over the years and it never disappoints for a good fun BBQ food.
The vibe of the resturant is busy and bustling. The food is quick to come out but is delicious.
The Sharing platters are playful, uncomplicated and tasty.
A great place to take the family or a messy first date. This place won’t disappoint or break the bank either.
Our first visit to this chain, and we generally enjoyed it. Steak and Shrimp was lovely although a bit thin! The shrimp and lobster are the best in this chain for sure. We sat down stairs and the atmosphere was fine, over 18yr but still young, who want alcohol, be prepared to show your IDs! Like most places in the UK
