Close to the tube, literally 5 mins walk from Victoria Line, Vauxhall Tube Station
They also have a Portuguese grocery store attached to it.
Casa Madeira is always bustling with people drinking and eating, so automatically the vibe you get is good, its mostly frequented by Portuguese people so as soon as you set in you feel as if you're Portugal.
Cafe area: The cakes are nice, the waiters are friendly and welcoming, the place is constantly busy.
Dining area: The area is gorgeously set up, and the ambience is rather magical, they have a live DJ on weekends and the food is lovely.
A great place for family meals and gatherings, the waiters were lovely and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.
8.8/10. Nice Portugal restaurants around Vauxhall. Fancy and delicious food come from truly Portugal chef and good Portugal beer. Be careful sit in for meal disturbed by the upon fast passing through trains.
🍲🥗 The food is delicious! The food is fresh and the meat is of great quality! I recommend trying the "carne de porco à alentejana" it's a traditional southern Portuguese dish of pork with clams. It was divine!

🏠 The decour is very Portuguese, but unfortunately the overground/ train passes right above and you can feel it trembling.
the food was delicious. I had peri peri king prawns for starters and grilled cuttlefish with potatoes and veg as main ; my son had the carbonara pasta and he loved it. Amazing service; the waiters Don Juan and Leandro were top notch.
Probably my favourite Portuguese place in London. Good quality food, good portions, prices are good also. Make sure you get the chance to be served by Don Juan Camacho 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Amazing service and highly recommend you this place either for drinks are for dining.
Been coming here for years. I love how authentically Portuguese it is from the food the staff, the decor etc. The food is always reasonably priced and very good quality. Staff are nice and hardworking and it's great to see the same staff working there year on year.
Nice Portuguese restaurant in Vauxhall, good food and generally good service although it took a long time for anyone to come and ask about drinks. Bread, olives and packets of fish pate did arrive quickly. A few wooden picks to eat the olives with would be a helpful addition. Food was plentiful and tasty. I would return
Excellent seafood risotto & octopus! A little pricey but hey, lobster 🦞and seafood don’t come cheap
We ordered seafood soup, octopus and T-bone steak. We really liked all seafood menu while meat menu was just simple. Especially the octopus was the best taste I have ever. It wax melted in my mouth. The lobster in seafood stew.. was Mega! I strongly recommend most of seafood menu in here and I will visit again soon!
Seafood was fresh and flavorful! Love the clams, lamb chop, and the seafood rice dish that every table orders! The pastel de natas have the perfectly creamy custard filling with caramelized top sitting in a crispy tart. If you like seafood and a nice little neighborhood bistro vibe, you’ll enjoy it!

I ate seafood tapas here and was impressed with the big portions and fresh tasty seafood. The clams are particularly nice. Limpets was a unique experience and were good but I probably wouldn't get again just because theyre quite rich and portion was very big. Crispy white bait in a nice batter and again, massive portion.
Service was friendly and fairly fast.
The prices are not like cheap or anything but I would say its reasonable for the area and what restaurant offers. I would definitely go again.
