Just tried it today, love the place. It feels like if I entered the house of a very friendly Italian person and they prepared me a delicious homemade meal. Everything is authentic about this place, the owners are friendly and smiley, and you can see how they cut cured meat to prepare your meal from scratch (e.g. no premade low quality ingredients, you get cuts from a real piece of salami/ham). Everything is homemade and delicious, and the price is more than reasonable. Vegetarian options are available as well as takeaway. Love the place!

We were supposed to go to Padella for a cheap lunch but lucky for us it was full and we found this gem!!!! The staff was so lovely and welcoming, made us feel like we were in someones family dining room! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the price was very good!
After eating they offered us cappuccinos with their homemade hazelnut sauce and a small shot of Baileys! they were amazing, perfect end for our lunch! We feel so lucky to be found this hidden gem and we will be coming back again ASAP!

Highly recommended. I’ve been here to breakfast and lunch on multiple occasions. I’ve also bought flour and sourdough starter from these guys. As well as being purveyors of every Italian essential, they are humble teachers of their craft, offering expert advice.

We bought some homemade pasta and gnocchi for a dinner party - super quality. We also had a tiramisu delivered on a Saturday which we really appreciated - Fabio and the team at La Spiga go out of their way to please. Support small and local!

Roberto and Fabio are absolutely wonderful. I went for a late lunch there today and they made sure my belly wasn't left empty - I had the carbonara, the homemade bread and followed it up with an espresso. Definitely will come back to see the boys and the food! Worth noting that the place is open late on Fridays and there's more seating at the back :)

There are some tables and spaces for eat-in. Open from 7am , Friday open until late time! Get their tasty chocolate croissant 🥐
