writing a review to let others know, as website is gone & google still shows as open.
Our favourite restaurant we’ve been going to for years has closed, we couldn’t be more upset.
Ive only put 1star to show other ppl.
Would love if they could get in touch.
We absolutely loved the service, the food, the drinks everything & genuinely don’t know were else we’d rather go for dinner. I wish your family the best & thank you for all your hard work & amazing food! We’re sorry to see you go😭😭😭

Amazing food. I love this place. Just some of the delicious food we've sampled recently will be added with pics. Let's face it, we buy with our eyes and there's nothing more annoying than reading someone's opinion without a pic to help decide 😋. The staff are so lovely here, we especially like Viet. All the staff are very efficient and friendly. We love the pho and salted, pepper and chilli tofu starter the most 😍.

Very authentic Vietnamese cuisine! Definitely a 5 star for me, good service, nice deco, reasonable price (slightly higher end)

Food was fresh and good quality. I got the spring rolls and the chicken satay rice dish. Slightly let down by the lack of atmosphere, but that may be more because of social distancing between the tables.

Wow! This place is exceptional. Customer service at its best right from the moment you step in. The food was flawlessly delicious. The atmosphere and the kind of people dining helps the food slide down better - better overall. There are two tables with children - so I'll say it's family friendly too. Few paid and free parking on side roads depending on what time you're visiting.

Visited first time this restaurant and was impressed with the interior. You can see tuk tuk, food cart with other Vietnamese decor. Ordered a crab starter - tasted nice and light - together with a beef salad - this was a bit too lemony for my taste and was served with lots of onion that I would reduce. For the price (£7) I was a bit disappointed. For main I want for a beef & pork soup and first impressions were great, but the taste was lacking in flavours. Not much noodles, meet and the soup was a bit oily for my tastebuds. Wife ordered a cold salad where the meat was nice and flavourfull. Drink selection nice (beer, wine and soft drinks available) with Vietnamese drinks on the list. We paid approx £40 for our meal. In overall I will give another try as probably I didn't choose the right dishes.

Very affordable and tasty food. Everything seemed exceptionally fresh and the waiter was helpful and attentive. An absolute treat to have in Leytonstone.

I love this place! I moved to Highams Park (20 min drive away) five years ago and District Mot has honestly been the place I’ve enjoyed the most takeaways from since being here. Bear in mind they don’t even deliver this far out! Nowhere in Highams Park/Chingford compares.
My obsession started as far back as when they were still called Little Saigon. Back then I’d often take a diversion home and go to Leytonstone on the way home from work/Westfield to pick up some Pho before jumping on the bus home to devour.
Nowadays, working from home, it’s a case of jumping in my car to go pick up food there and now it’s not just Pho. Absolutely everything I’ve tried there is amazing - pak Choi in garlic, stir fried noodles, chicken in peanut sauce and their salt pepper chilli squid/prawns/tofu is out of this world!
To top it off, really nice staff too. My advice? District Mot is definitely somewhere you need to experience - whether takeaway or eating in, you will not be disappointed.
