I regularly purchase healthy food items that are only available at planet organic. This branch serve a decent variety of healthy snacks and lunches. Service has always been quite good.
All the Mexican food lovers out there , you need to visit this place for sure . Amazing food with friendly ambience .
Also perfect place to select some healthy dishes if you looking out for some good healthy options .
Always great to find healthy cafes and supermarkets with lots of vegan options. Planet Organic has an incredible range of healthy and vegan products - a bit overpriced compared to competitors though. Their buffet has good healthy vegan options, great for a quick meal that is reliably healthy. Note though that on returning to have the buffet again during a busy lunch hour I got food poisoning. Perhaps they are not watching the freshness close enough during rush hour. The Almond Cocao hot drink is heavily but avoid their coffees as this isn't their strength.
Great place for a quick fix fresh juice on the go. Chose the Zinger. Yum! Orange, carrot, apple and ginger. Next time I'll buy a litre of the stuff. Only complaint is that there isn't a separate queue for the juice bar.
Definitely the best supermarket in London offering a variety of healthy options. The dine in options are awesome and highly recommended. Only downside is that it's overpriced compared to the other places offering similar options.
I've only had the matcha latte here, and I would say that it was very average. But what's great about this place is that they offer a student discount so it is very affordable and they've got a large selection of juices and smoothies, all of which are organic and healthy! I'm definitely going to try one of their juices next time I visit.

I go there often to buy some fresh and organic meat and I can not resist walking around and getting a juice. Their selection of smoothies and fresh organic juices are amasing. You actually feel like you have taken a shot of vitamins. If you are looking for something very specific this is a good place to go because they have a big variety of ingredients and herbs. The only thing that stops me from spending more time there is the price. It is completely overpriced and even if your 2013 wish list was to become a full blown organic food eater you better be ready to afford these types of prices.
Given that it's only a two-minute walk from University College London (and offers a 10% student discount), this health-food paradise is unsurprisingly rammed with idealistic students most of the week, so at lunchtimes it's always impossible to find a seat at! Most sandwiches and pre-packaged food are hideously overpriced for what you get; the soups and other hot foods, which you can get to take away or eat in, on the other hand, are very reasonable and delicious. Definitely try those if you're passing by. Planet Organic also has a fantastic array of vegan and vegetarian options, so if you're looking for a place in central London that caters to those needs it's practically second-to-none.
Fantastic place to pick up a healthy lunch if you are in a rush. You can pack a box full of a variety of different salads, all of which are delicious. The Mushroom soup and the lentil soup are also delicious and warming on a cold winters day.
Every time I go to Planet Organic I am tempted to spend hours scanning the aisles of health foods and vowing to eat more healthily, sadly I am usually on a lunch break so can't. It is usually extremely busy though and can be hard to find seat sometimes.
Planet Organic is cram packed full of every kind of health kick and environmentally friendly morsel possible. What it offers in superhuman levels of health and global peace of mind however, it lacks in cheap prices. Even a small cup of soup will set you back around £3 or £4. It is spacious and has a very impressive variety, but is perhaps more of a lifestyle choice than a nice place to catch some lunch.
Yummy and healthy lunch, multiple choices dishes can be chosen to fill in three different size meal boxes.
After lunch, we did some shopping, all sorts of organic fresh or dried healthy food options. Amazing and peaceful shopping experience.
Very helpful and caring serving lunch session staff, she was such a beautiful lady both outside and inside.
The low salt miso issaltis so nice, I made a miso soup with it, using seaweed, fried Tofu and ENOKI mushroom, to make it more interesting, I added fungus and dried mushroom. You can get the same miso from Mark and Spencer or maybe Waitrose as well.
Really good food and ethos.
There is a good selection of hot food, as well as child food.
The coffee was good, although there appeared to be staff training when I visited and there were 8 people around the machine.
They had a big selection of kombucha.
Plenty of places to sit and would be good to work as well as meet.
Impressive selection of groceries.
Great range, friendly staff, cafe style at the front (coffee, juices, hot food, salads and a wide range of lunch style take aways on shelf that cater to any dietary requirement or preference) and a full market at the back... it's expensive... but supermarkets are cheaper because they are beasts of monopoly who offer inferior mass produced products and pay thier staff nothing. I'm not a hippy... I'm not even hip enough to be a hipster.. but you get what you pay for... and ethical expensive is preferable to corporate injustices served at competitive prices. I guess.
I used to frequent their store in nottinghill. This store is bigger than the other store. a lot if selection of organic food and ready made food as well. The kimchi and fermented goods was interesting as well.
Had lunch here, nice informal shop and cafe at the back. The winter greens soup was very nice, bit under seasoned for me but salt and pepper was provided. The hot meals are quite well thought out and provide creative dishes for vegetarians, like tofu stir fries, tofu tandoori, and seitan steak. The cold salads are also good with a selection of choices. Its a good place for a healthy snack or lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the box system which allows you to get a box full of different dishes.
I just love Planet Organic. They sell a lot of vegan products and some of my favorite brands like Follow your heart. Haven't been to this location before, so it was my first visit to this store. The range of products was the same as in other branches, the place is relatively big and is well stocked. Good quality of products. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I came in looking for a face serum being utterly lost. A lovely and attentive sales advisor came to my rescue. Unfortunately, it totally slipped my mind to write this review sooner. (Apologies to you if I remember your name wrong) I think it was Diane or Diana but it was mid January and it was her first week. She was an absolute star!
Staff it's always and every day super friendly. There is plenty of choise of products you can see in this shop! The hot food particularly is great! I always enjoy to have my lunch here and get some healthy food!
The manager, which I don't remember the name of, it's very kind.
Great place to shop and for lunch/dinner.
I really like the hot food they provide. It is filling and nutritious, always flavourful and the range covers various cuisines. As I have food allergies I need a little more time to decide what I will have yet so far staff has always been patient and helpful, no matter how crowded the place was.
I also highly appreciate that the gluten free bread at the soup station is packed in single bags to avoid cross-contamination. In general I try to avoid excessive waste wherever possible therefor I wish the soups could be served in enamel containers as well (similar to the hot dishes).
The space at the back and the self-service station are always clean and tidy.
A great store to treat oneself and unwind from a hectic daily routine.
The hot food is really nice! It has a good variety of vegetables and grains. They are cooked in a healthy way and are very flavourful too. I also like the smoothies and fresh juices. I would buy more often if they weren’t so pricy. I never shopped in there for grocery but I don’t think it can compete with Waitrose in terms of variety and the freshness of produce.
I love planet organic! They have student discount and great deals. My favorite is their CBD butter coffee - it's really good and you can get it with syrup. The staff are also very friendly.
Amazing service, amazing people, amazing selection. This is by far my most beloved store. Cannot recommend this one enough. The people here have gotten me through the first and now second lockdown and provided me with food and recipe tips, great choices when it comes to homeware such as candles and much more. I leave the store with a huge smile every single time knowing I got healthy and super delicious food and ehtical home products. Could not be happier :) and a big thanks to the team!
First visit to the store and I was impressed by the vast selection of healthy food and drink. The store was very tidy and presentable and the customer service was excellent. They have good offers on selected items also. I will definitely be going back there soon!
I adore this food shop - they produce about 4-5 different fresh salads each day in large platters from around 1 pm as well as having a lovely brunch menu with the regular eggs.
My two favorite dishes are the large but fluffy pancakes - so light. Also their smashed avow toast is the best in London
I was serve by a nice French girl at the juice bar . She was very kind and very efficient. She helped me choose a juice (which was zinger ) and it tasted lovely . Price is a bit high( 4.95£ ) and store looked quiet and clean .
Dear Planet Organic,
I have tried all of your Planets that orbit central London but ended up being a loyal and regular customer of your Torrington Place store. This has been for many years now and I wish to share my reasons for why it outshines the rest.
Firstly, the people who work there, from management to part timers, are kind, relaxed, and genuinely friendly, without exception. They always try to smile, no matter how goaded, and whenever I see them the personal touch they give makes me feel far more than just a customer, which is both rare and greatly appreciated. All this, in turn, creates an atmosphere where I can eat my food, think, and be in peace. It is a valued oasis of calm in the chaos that is so often London. A place to both recharge batteries and re-stock on the particular items I need for my diet.
Sometimes an establishment just gets it all right.
Yours
Oana
The prepared food is excellent. I like the deal where you can get a pie in a medium bowl with mix and match options to fill the rest of the bowl. This shop is very quiet compared to the one on Tottenham Court Road so I prefer coming here when I'm in the area.
