A wonderful gin served by a wonderful staff. The Residency has an attentive staff and amazing cocktails. One of the best Gin and Tonics in London! The market is great too and the Residency allows you to bring in food from the food stalls at the market. Get the grilled cheese toastie. It pairs perfectly with the Little Bird gin!

Great little place for people watching on a sunny weekend arvo. You can also bring your food from the food stalls along the market so feel free to eat and drink up here!

They make their own gin. They serve their own gin. They allow you to bring in food you have bought in the stalls outside. In the winter you get a hot water bottle and a blanket. If you go here more than once they recognise you and know your name. Need I say more? Oh yeah, everything is delicious and the staff are Swift and Keane

What's not to like, my favourite gin, good cocktails to choose from. Love coming here even though live 40 miles away it's worth the train journey just to visit here. All staff very friendly and being able to bring in food from the food stalls is great.

Wonderful place to visit at the weekends. Cocktails to impress (with generous measures of their gin). Only slightly overpriced, but in line with other local cocktail bars. Also in a prime location with other high quality food outlets near by. I would recommend the Negroni, I can attest at 11am on a Saturday, it really wakes you up!

They make excellent gin, but above it - creative, wonderful cocktails. Also, if you prefer to sit while enjoying the delicious food from the other stands in the lovely Maltby market, this bar is located right at the center of the street ;)

There's no faulting this place on either service or style, and it seems to be doing well with the current hipster fascination with gin increasing the demand for places such as this... as most people know however, gin more than any other spirit has endured the most turbulent relationship with people since it's inception from being viewed one moment as courage and another as ruin, and ghosts have the attention span of a squirrel on crack, so who knows how long gin bars will remain a profitable industry... ...so I suppose it helps here then, that this place doesn't simply push other people's gins, they make and push their own product, a small batch London distilled gin with a surprising character that cuts through mixers pretty well and is solid to use in cocktails, without being indistinguishably lost in the mix. Try their Bloody Mary, incredibly punchy with fresh horseradish and strong on the pepper and spice.

A Maltby Street staple! I'm very glad they have brought back the pineapple based warm gin drink for the winter. If it's chilly, they also have hot water bottles and blankets available. Very friendly and wonderful staff - when they're busy, you might have to flag one down to order a drink. To the management - It would be great if you would open the second floor for seating as it's often full! I suppose it's more of a question if the second floor can be opened to customers for safety reasons?
