Really good joint for homemade pasta, just like you would expect in Rome. I asked for the carbonara special with grated cured egg yolk. Amazing. WIll be back again when in London.

True and delicious Italian recipes!! Plenty of vegetarian options
Truly authentic Italian recipes. Best pasta in London!
Al Dente makes the best pasta in London for under £20 without a doubt. It tastes hand made, cooked to perfection with sauces which can’t deny their direct connection to Italy.
Although it looks the messiest in the photos, the Ragú was without a doubt the best dish. The Nduja dish was also amazing but it’s impossible to deny the level of care they took on the ragú sauce.
At this price point, it would make no sense to skip Al Dente. What a great find!
PS: if there is two of you and you find yourself hungry enough, go for three mains and skip the appetizers. You will be rewarded, and full :)
Some of the best Italian food we've ever had in London! We recommend the piadina and the pizzatoni. The spaghettoni alla carbonara was also yummy, especially with the large chewy noodles.
I visited this restaurant with family, beautiful, relaxing and welcoming ambiance.
We had the Linguine seafood, this was my first Italian food and I fell in love with it, it was very tasty.
Great customer service, the guy that attended to us gave different meal options before I settled for the seafood, very helpful with smiling face.
The Prosecco top it all, it was so good! Al Dente made me fall in love with Italian food. Will definitely visit again!
Extremely impressed with this place, fresh tasty high quality pasta dishes and great portion sizes, the arancini was also some of the best we’ve ever had! We’ve been to many Italian restaurants in London and even the high end ones, honestly the food here is just as good as or even better than some of those we’ve visited which cost a LOT more! It’s certainly not a date night location but if you’re in the mood for some quick great tasting pasta at a fantastic price then definitely visit here!
Incredibly delish Paccheri al Ragù. Pasta was truly al dente. Ordered a takeaway cuz my friend and I were in a rush. Luckily, staff were very patient and they answered all our questions 🫶🏻 Lovely chic little place. Their arancini looks good too.
This was my second visit to Al Dente, and it was just as good as my first visit 4 months ago.
The carbonara was probably the best I’ve had - the spaghettoni had the right level of bite, the guanciale was rendered down properly which then gave the creamy sauce plenty of flavours.
I tasted a bit of my friend’s ravioli and that was delicious too, if you go I’d recommend sharing your pastas because they are great in different ways.
I will have to go back to try the rest of their menu at some point… 😋😅
P.s. the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and attentive, also food came out pretty quickly despite the restaurant was fairly full. We sat outside and was pretty warm thanks to the heating lamps.
Lovely pasta as always. My favourite is definitely their ravioli al Dante but everything else tasted fantastic too. Definitely recommend! Good value for sure.
Yesterday we’ve been at Al Dente Monument and really enjoyed it, so today we decided to try this one out as well.
We really enjoyed, the place is quite small and cozy, with a nice atmosphere and really friendly staff.
We had a carbonara, the ravioli al dente, pumpkin ravioli and the gnocchi ai quattro formaggi (with added guanciale). Everything was really nice but would definitely recommend both the ravioli dishes, which were amazing!
Goodge street outlet is quite small but busy. Our server was nice and also made relevant suggestions based on what we asked.
We went for the classic spaghetti carbonara and lasagne. The carbonara was cooked perfectly, not too chewy and very creamy. The lasagna was a little bit salty. The tiramisu was really delicious, the coffee soaked cake was very delicious, and overall not too sweet. I would probably visit the other outlet if you are seeking a better ambiance.
Wow, wow, wow! This place just blew my mind. I found them on Instagram and read many good things about it... and it didn't disappoint. The pasta at this place is just incredible, I went with my partner and we had bruschettas to start (pretty good) and then I had the Ravioli al dente (Spinach, mushrooms, ricotta cheese, truffle and parmesan fondue). It was literally stunning, it was a pleasure to eat this. I could have eaten a bigger size portion but it was still incredible. My partner had the lasagna which was decent size portion and it was also amazing, just like a nonna would cook it. On top of the amazing food, the prices are incredible. Most of the pasta dishes are under a tenner.
Also the girl who took care us was super friendly and helpful with the menu.
We paid £32 for one pasta dish, one lasagna, one bruschetta starter and one beer. Amazing value.
Can't wait for the South Kesington one opens!
