Pho Village

Great Pho, much better than the other local options like HOP. The summer rolls are a must, the sauce they come with is delicious! Good price (even better if you have a CityMunch voucher), and great service - they always try to get you seated even with the limited space they have. My only criticism would be that when eating in, it seems unnecessary to still serve the food in the takeaway containers. A bowl with a small dish for the Pho garnish would be ideal.

I'm so pleased to have discovered this place! I have luxury of eating home made Vietnamese food every other weekend when my boyfriend's mom invites us for a dinner, thus I see myself as a very spoilt and difficult to please customer. Yet, Pho Village did not fail me! I've had a Hoi An Chicken Rice Box which was a pleasant, pleasant surprise. First of all, it was done incredibly quickly - just what I, a busy busy office lady, needed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place was super cozy - the reason why I chose them to grab lunch there! I'm super pleased with food. People complain portions are too small, but I found it just perfect. While it sure filled me, I don't feel bloated or as if I ate too much, so portions wise Pho Village have sure hit the golden middle. It was delicious and rich in flavour, plus I really recommend their matcha tea. My colleagues were super jealous after the beautiful smell of it filled the office. It's a pity such great place doesn't seem to attract many customers, because it's a truly fab lunch destination. Definitely coming back and bringing colleagues over!

Pho Village is an authentic Vietnamese lunch at a reasonable price. Try the special, very tasty indeed. Pho Village is a refreshing update to the brick lane area. Staff are friendly and layout is well thought out. Chef looks like a real pro! A little take out oriented due to the size and food comes in boxes as pictured. Worth your time and even a detour.
