Great atmosphere and good selection of independent beers. Probably the best pub in the area! Haven't tried the food.

Love the place. Slightly off the beaten track (unless you're a local), it's normally busy enough that it's always busy but... if you bide your time you'll get a table. Staff are great, beer is good, as is the food. Also they're getting Fever Tree tonic (fingers crossed). I've been going there, irregularly, for... ten years? Only failed me once when it was overloaded with Christmas parties.

Loved this pub! Such a great atmosphere! The interiors match the exterior and make you feel in a different age.. Has plenty of space indoors and outdoors! Came here to have a whiskey and I was impressed by the good selection of scotch! Prices were also quite affordable in my opinion. Staff is really friendly and welcomes you with a smile.. also quite knowledgeable..

Wonderful atmosphere and dog friendly! Food does let it down a bit, not bad but not brilliant either, quite standard when there are a lot of great places around it.

Would the manager consider turning down the music slightly? Every time I’ve been in, I’ve felt myself going hoarse after a few hours of straining my voice trying to speak to just one other person because of the volume of the music. During the afternoon when the pub is pretty empty too. Otherwise a beautiful pub with very down to earth staff and nice cocktails so a shame the atmosphere is overtaken by unnecessarily loud music. I’d like to add, I’m in my twenties so don’t want management to think this is a case of fuddy duddy whingeing. Just a genuine plea to make a local pub as great and relaxing as it can be! Thank you

Very nice pub not far from Borough station, serving a great range of dishes and it's a plus the outside area, very nice to socialize especially during summer! Even if it was a Monday, the pub was fairly busy, which is good!

The finest pork chop in Southwark, and a good range of reasonably priced ales. Fabulous old pub, a little way off the main Borough high street. Fabulous sun trap, a great place to have lunch or drinks after work.

Popped in for the Sunday roast. Bloody Mary passes the test. Beef and vegetables were a little overdone, but it was late in the afternoon. The Yorkshire pudding was very nice: Huge, light and crispy. I will go again and try the pork next time. It looked lovely when it was served at a nearby table.

The Roebuck on Trinity street and Falmouth road on the south side of the A2 is a simply beautiful Victorian building, lucky enough to be a great pub as well! Beer is lovely and cold and tasty (all on a gorgeous summer's day, an extra and is allowed!). A fair selection of cask ales for them that do too. A great pub!
