Pretty neat food! The fungi bruschetta was all cheesy-melty awesomeness. The spinach and ricotta tortellini was also satisfying - good portion & filling ratio. The ice tea helped wash it all down. Dessert was light & new for me; the tartufo nocciola was a ball of vanilla icecream covered in nuts. The chocolate center was barely there but it was a good icecream nevertheless.

Location perfect.. near the Waterloo station.. Decor felt nice... visiting London so caught with some old friends... Food nothing to rave about but it exactly what u expect... Service a tad bit slow but helped us friends to catch up...

Lovely Italian restaurant, the menu is well balanced with pasta, pizza, risotto and a selection of other mains and sides. As it was a particularly hot day it was a lovely escape from the heat (the Waterloo bridge arches make the inside of the restaurant cool (both in temperature and in terms of decor).
I enjoyed my pizza very much and it was quite filling and so did everyone else with their respective meals.
The only thing that I was not sure about was that the egg on the pizza was boiled and cut in 4, when I thought it would be one of those that they crack open on the pizza and it cooks with it. Just in case you wanted that, that's not it.
The desserts were very tasty too, I recommend the hazelnut ice cream (tartufo something) as it was delicious and the chocolate orange tart if you are a fan of chocolate oranges.
In general it's a good dinner option in Waterloo and you also get to escape the big chain restaurants that the area is full of.
This was our lets go place almost everytime when we wanted a drink as it was jst around the corner from my workplace. I love the ambience and the service here. Sometimes you can hear the train movement sounds haha.
I have been a few times funny enough most of the time on Sundays. It's purely because of the location close to Waterloo station.
Service good always served quickly and with a smile.
The place is quirky it's under a rail tunnel and if you seat towards the back you can feel the train. The atmosphere of the place is really nice.
I went for the lasagne and my friend went for the salmon tagiatelle. For dessert we went for tiramisu. The food wasn't wow but it wasn't bad either safe option to go for if you don't have much time in the area and are in a rush

Verdict not wow average place worth going to if you are in a rush and can't be bothered to look around. I love the decor of the place
The restaurant was situated just next to Waterloo station and the national theatre. Awesome atmosphere, great pricing, wonderful choice of wine, amazing food over all.. The service was very good and they showed us a great table, the lasagne was exquisite and then the pizza was delicious.. Couldn't have expected anything less from an Italian restaurant.. Unforgettable experience..
While walking through South Bank after a concert, we stopped by at Azzurro as it looked really nice and definitely sounded Italian. As usual, we order a pizza. I had a Margherita with fries. My pizza was really nice, on a standard Italian pizzeria level.
Service was really quick and kind. Tables were nicely arranged with flowers on it. Kind of romantic. I really liked those details. Atmosphere inside was lovely.
Situated practically opposite Waterloo station, this Italian restaurant is worth a visit. It is especially convenient for students studying at King's College London, as it is extremely close by. The food was great, and the menu featured an interesting variety of pizzas and pastas. The pizza I had there was great, and had a distinct flavour. The prices are not very high, considering the size of the portions. They also a lunch deal where one can order any pizza/pasta and a drink for under £8. The inside is dark and the restaurant is generally quiet. Staff was helpful, but the food takes a while to arrive.

I really loved the tangy taste of the Italian pizza and it’s crispness.
The antipasti was quite cold and stale. That was the only dish I didn’t really enjoy

Brilliant restaurant I'm heart of Waterloo. All waiter staff are brilliant. I asked for extra spicy and to my surprise they actually did it. I had a fly go in to my Peroni and they replaced it with a full pint. Thanks for services.
Loved this restaurant, nice staff and the food was delicious. Very child friendly, crayons and the Menu can be drawed on. Really liked that they have actual Italian food on the kids menu!! So many only have hot dogs and fries, but here there is plenty to choose from.
Otherwise very nice atmosphere, and honestly not as expensive as i had thought.

We had a lovely lunch here, the pizza was freshly cooked and the calamari were superb! Ignore the lowish feedback because its a good place!
The food was nice sand tasty.
Recommended if you have family or friends with Coeliac, as they have gluten free options.
Went in for a late lunch and wanted to try the Steak Frîtes. Sadly sold out, so went for the Sea Bass. It was Ok, and I sensed the kitchen was busy.
The waitress asked how my meal was, and I explained my thoughts (i.e. would have preferred crispier skin side, and salad being dressed better) and the staff listened and apologised the experience wasn’t perfect. I liked that. Generally the staff were very good.
Next time I should go to their core Italian dishes to compare. Will look forward to that.

Brilliant. Not too expensive as London goes. The ale was perfect, clean, clear and cool. The cellarman keeps the beer well.
I had some fries on the side. They came pipping hot and cooked to perfection.
These people were wonderful.
We had 45 minutes before our train on Jubilee Day to have a meal. Despite having been rushed off their feet all day, they found us a table, brought our food promptly (which was delicious by the way) and let us pay upfront so we could get our train.
The staff were charming and courteous and we will make this, a, regular stop when we visit London.
Good food selection. However, service wasn't overly great. Had to wait excessive times to be served and brought food, albeit quiet inside and plenty of staff visible. The atmosphere was dry. Perhaps background music could be played whilst quiet.
Very quick service. Food was delicious and the chocolate fondant dessert was superb.
If you come by train you can get a buy one get on free on main courses.

Nice location next to Waterloo Station. Clean, looked good and a nice area to eat. Some of the staff may need a bit more coaching but overall good place for lunch. Very reasonably priced as well. Great place to visit.
Food was fabulous and service excellent. Good choice of dishes so when I am next back in the city will definitely visit again as there are several dishes I would like to try.

The ambiance of this restaurant is excellent. Their lighting is low for those who struggle in the dark it can be a bit difficult.
We have been there twice now and every meal we've gotten has been top-shelf. We've also gotten deserts and tried a couple of their drinks, and there are no complaints to be given.
As for service, we've never had better. Our server Lauren, who took care of us both times, is friendly, helpful, and efficient. It is safe to say that we came back to this restaurant as much for her as we did for the food.
If you're looking for Italian in London, this is the place to go.
We all had the thin crust pizzas which were excellent, especially the Daniele (goat cheese)! Service was lovely and swift. Cool setting inside under the arches; would sit outside next time if sunny!
Have been to this restaurant a few times over the years and its always a special treat either on a date or with friends.
No over bearing music that you cant talk, tasty food and attentive waiting staff who are friendly and helpful.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area.
