My all-time favourite neighbourhood Chinese restaurant. Great food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff. The same family have owned and run it for several generations and their devotion to their craft and the customers is second to none. Love it.
A truly hidden place. A family run restaurant - ive eaten all over for chinese and this place definitely is woth those at the top. A cosy place, not too grand, with excellent friendly staff and delicious food! The duck is great and so is the egg fried rice. A great place for a nice meal and a chat.
This family-run Peking cuisine restaurant has been serving customers in Acton and Ealing since 1976. It is in a parade of shops and has simple décor: blue patterned carpet, a mirror on one wall and opposite wall painted a terracotta colour. There are about a dozen tables, and all were taken on this Sunday night. Pleasantly surprised as it's hard to find a nice dine in Chinese but this is definitely one. Had a very nice welcome and all the staff were extremely nice and the restaurant is very clean with a good atmosphere. The food came out pretty quick and it was beautifully presented, very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the best chicken in black bean sauces I've ever had and the spicy chicken sizzler was fantastic as well. Safe to safe I'll definitely be returning some time soon 💯👌🏻
Amazing experience! The restaurant itself is very pretty and neatly located near the centre of Acton. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and they work very hard to fulfill your wishes! The food is amazing (especially the crispy duck). I’ve been coming here for many years and it’s always been a perfect experience! 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know!
First of all, you immediately feel that you are in a restaurant. North Chinese restaurant is located in central Acton and looks like a family-run business. There are a total of 10 tables for 4 people and 2 people inside. service standard is at a good level and conforms to jargon.
Definitely nice to start with traditional Chinese jasmine tea. The starters are great, especially shrimp and tofu. For the main course again I recommend fried egg rice and mapo tofu.
Dined at North China last night and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very hospitable, food was affordable and delicious - not too sweet, oily or heavy as I previously experienced in other Chinese restaurants. The restaurant was also very clean and the atmosphere was lovely. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. Will go again!

The best Chinese I have every had! Every dish was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Fresh white table cloths and fantastic service. Can’t wait to go back!

I've been coming here for years with my family and the food and service has always been excellent! They always cater for the different dietary requirements in our family including vegan and gluten free options. We've requested soy sauce to be swapped with tamari to make some dishes gluten free which has never been an issue!
Had to write this review just as I’ve finished my food because it was so good. This was the best Chinese cuisine we have ever had by a country mile ! Can’t knock anything, I’d seriously recommend this place to anyone.

Our Valentine’s Day 2022 celebrations have begun - We started it with a nice lunch at @northchinafood - Delicious food and great service - Salt and Pepper Prawns, Pulled Duck and Pancakes, Sizzling Prawns, Beef in Black Bean Sauce and finally the most yummy egg fried rice

Came here for my Father-in-law’s 60th birthday. Food was really tasty and the service is superb! The lobster noodle is definitely on point. Highly recommend! Definitely would come again.
Our first experience was very good, staff is attentive and on the ball at all times. The food is also prepared very well and tasty. Shame the place closes so early and they have turned us down for dinner on our second try, an hour before closure, on a Saturday.

Amazing restaurant, I go here once a month. Best Chinese in London, better than Gerrards corner and other places in Chinatown. Amazing staff, and they take allergens very seriously. Safe place for vegans, vegetarians, and people with allergies to dine.
I came here with a group for a late Saturday night booking, we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to a nice table by the window.
The food was delicious, my personal highlights were the homemade pancakes which were served with the crispy duck. I've never had this style of pancakes before in London. Also the aubergine stuffed with prawn in a black bean sauce was incredible.
Everything was great, I will definitely be back!
Love their stuffed aubergine with shrimp paste dish. Quantity is on the small side looking at the price for delivery. Otherwise, food is ok.
Nice acceptable Chinese restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The dishes are pretty standard and the menu is extensive. The grilled fish was a good option. Wine and beer are also available. £72 for two eating dinner is a little pricey though.
