Simple menu and everything done fresh. Don't know the place that much since we were here once but food was served fast. Place was full and waiting time for takeaways was roughly 5 min. 2 cashier were operating and all went smooth. Coffee was good, bread was very good :) All tables were cleaned after customer leaves. It is good place for quick breakfast or coffee break.

Stopped at Gail's for an Iced Latte and a Blueberry Muffin... Both were very good. Seating inside and outside and they have a customer toilet. Prices average for London.

Visited this gails with my family this morning. One of the finest pastries and croissants we’ve had in a while. The staff was very hospitable specially a boy called Jash who went out of his way to get us familarized with the menu, made sure we were comfortable and liked the food. Don’t miss out the ham & cheese crossaints and chai latte if you are visiting

Delicious bakery, good service!!! Lots of places to sit downstairs! Latte is great, bathroom good! High ceilings! Only point of improvement could have been quicker drinks ☕️

Huge thanks to Ryan, staff working at Gail’s. Wasn’t planning on giving a review, but based on Ryan’s friendly and customer centric service I rate 5 stars! Give him a raise and/or promote him!

The quality of the bread is amazing. We sat outside and ordered brunch. I didn’t like the fact you have to queue in the same line as people just buying stuff from the bakery. No menus that I could see, only above the till area. So had to stand aside of the queue, pick what we wanted and then queue again! Our table wasn’t cleaned from the previous occupant, even when our food arrived!!! I had a cold drink which I bought with me after ordering, my friend had coffee which arrived after we had eaten!. She was also not given any cutlery!! Couldn’t even ask someone as the queue was out of the door by this point and our food would be cold. So she managed to find a plastic knife and folk. FYI they don’t work well with sourdough bread!! Look I get that they were super busy and clearly need more staff but the whole queueing situation is very annoying. The bread gets 5 ⭐️ the service doesn’t.

Most goods are baked fresh and look superb. Great seating space inside so don’t be put off by the small tables by the entrance or the queue (you to order at the counter before you seat). Their “toasted” scones with jam and butter with a flat white are a winner.

a very pleasant and value-for-money place for breakfast! we came here three times during our visit to london because it's near the flat we were staying at, and the service was great on all visits! we loved the mushroom and caramelised onions quiche. there is also a good selection of breads and pastries! A for atmosphere as well — music choice was great and not too loud.

Lovely little branch of this bakery; nice range of pastries and other food; cute outdoor area and bright and friendly indoor seating. Food: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 4/5 — Update 19 Jan 2020: tried the almond butter and fruit compote porridge, which was great and extremely filling.

Great pastries and coffees as in every Gail's. I do agree with other reviews that the staff are not super friendly but that's fine it's a bakery so not expecting Savoy-like service. One to try is the custard and blueberry pastry, absolutely amazing! (See pictured)

Great bakery and pasticerie. Good variety and lovely products. The place is really quiet and well decorated. Good for eating quickly or to stay to sudy or read. Staff is nice, but sometimes you need to wait to much for them to deliver the food to your table. I think is a bit overpriced.

It’s not cheap, but they have the best pastry I know of. Their cakes are delicious, and the bread is also great. I don’t drink coffee - so I can’t say anything about theirs, but the tea is good. I never pass one without entering and buying something :)
