Great place and well located. While walking the streets of soho, this is a welcome break. Great service and a good range if brews to choose from
Can't fault this small but clean and friendly Nicholson's pub. Good service, large menu especially for lighter meals and sandwiches. Very nice Scottish smoked salmon and chips, and nachos had by co-diner were "the best I've ever had". Drinks well priced for the area.
Favorite pub in the city! I always come here with friends for a beer or a cider! Prices are reasonable and staff is super friendly! Good position!
Great pub in central london. Fantastic atmosphere in the festive period. We also had a tasty burger and it was lovely.Will come back again for sure. What a night ;)

My in-laws were visiting from the US and wanted to try some traditional pub food. We stopped at a couple of Green King pubs, but the traditional offerings were a bit lacking. So we sorta just strolled around and luckily found The Crown. The menu had more traditional offerings, so we decided to give it a shot.
The ground floor was packed, so we headed upstairs. There we found a small, quiet room with a few people quietly having dinner. There were a few tables open, and we sat down under a photo of a painting of Mozart. Very cool. And on the walls were pasted pieces of sheet music. Upon investigating the connection, it turns out The Crown was built on the site of The Hickford Rooms, an 18th century concert hall where Mozart performed when he was only 9! So we were having dinner in a very special place.
Dante, our server, was fantastic. And the food was delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of their signature pie, but I and my father-in-law decided to try the fish pie. My mother-in-law went with the sweet potato & goat’s cheese pie. Each pie also came with a side of oven roasted carrots, cabbage & peas. The meals were delicious and filling. Overall a wonderful experience.
Lovely English food in a charming authentic pub. Love it and the birthday girl was fully satisfied with her dish. Sodas recommended.

My wife and I have eaten very well in London. This pub was the highlight of an already neon-yellow week. The Bangers and Mash was incredible with creamy mash and a rich onion gravy. The Nourish Bowl Salad was a phenomenal dish with oriental and middle eastern flavors. It was complex, and hearty. The gin selection was great. The staff was kind and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was relaxed and very comfortable.
I recently dined at this remarkable restaurant and encountered a minor hiccup when my burger was overcooked. However, Jazz's (the owner) response was truly exceptional. He personally apologized and crafted a new burger, which turned out to be the best I've had in years. The owner's caring and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly appreciated, and I highly recommend this restaurant for both its delicious food and outstanding service.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. It's the upper end of reasonable but worth it. I had the fish sharing platter for one (£17.50) and washed it down with a golden brew ale (£4.50). Would love to go again. It's a beautiful part of the country.
Had lunch here on Sunday and we had really tasty fish and chips and a garlic schnitzel. Honestly I don't understand why we had to pay before as we were sitting in the pub and of course going through the till to go outside and only two tables were taken.
The place is big and beautifully designed. Must say it was really clean and service was good - we waited a bit but not too much.
We hadn't pies but only saw a few arriving to the table close to ours and they seemed to be so big and tasty! Maybe next time :)
Was a great place to relax and enjoy a great meal, there were 11 of us and we all got out food together, staff were friendly and helpful, food was fantastic, everyone enjoyed their choices and we were eyeing up the others. Looking foward to going back to try the other food.

A proper London, and particularly Soho pub. Delightful, lovely attentive staff. An early visit so not crowded but a great atmosphere. The kind of place where fun happens. Great beer with plenty of Keg and Cask. Popular with American airmen during WWII it says, it would be great to know more and get personal about this. Any Americans been told to visit by ex or current airforce customers?
What a relief on a hot and hectic day. Great beer, yet water and lemonade were also served with no reproach. A good selection of wines by the glass.
Historic location for the 9 year-old Mozart. Get the vibe.

Traditional, if a bit upscale London pub. Very friendly staff and a decent amount of beers on tap. Spaceous interior with outdoor area for enjoying your drinks in fresh air.
