One of my favourite places to get some quick, warming food in London. I recommend the Vegan pots, even if you eat meat.. they fill them up for you with the options of coriander, dried onions or chilis as toppings - be careful the chilis are HOT! Can be very busy at lunch time as it's not the biggest Wasabi they have.
Tried the mixed maki set here. Wasabi is the most famous to go Japanese chain and as usual was very crowded during the lunch time. We were lucky enough to find a seat and enjoy our lunch.
The sushi was brilliant as it was our first time experience trying Sushi. Would go there again to try more stuff!
I love sushi and bentos so this place is my absolute favourite for when I crave Japanese food. This place is very crowded during lunch on weekdays because of all the offices around. So a takeaway is a good idea
Wish we had one back home. I had the spicy noodles and the wife had Chicken teriyaki.
The choices were excellent and they were neatly packed and displayed quite well. Salads, Sushi for healthy options and they had rice options as well.
The place was packed but you didn't wait long for your meal. loved it
This Japanese chain is a great option for a quick lunch. They have a range of sushi in pre-packed selection boxes, or you can "pick-and-mix" your own box.
There's plenty of vegetarian sushi, which makes a nice change. I love veggie sushi but there's only so much cucumber maki I want to eat!
They also do a range of Japanese-style salads as well as bento, soups and teppan if you prefer a hot meal. There is limited cafeteria-style seating available but best for takeaway.
You have the option to order or to select a bento (hot or cold) or some sushi. I hate fish, but love Japanese food, and the chicken katsu bento was soooooo good.
Anyway, cheap, tasty. Lots of seating and plenty of options.
Go do this right now.
Very friendly staff! Good fresh food and good price! I love it!
So good, I had it twice!
The Korean Bento was quite tasty, very filling without being overly spicy.
Plus, it was under £10.
You honestly can’t beat the price and quality.
Bought the Chicken Katsu Curry Bento for £6.75. Decided that the sushi offerings are too pricey and not really worth it. The katsu chicken were decent. The curry was authentic Jap-styled. Pity the veg was a little sparse. But overall decent value and quality
Both hot & cold dishes (noodles, sushi etc.), cutlery is obviously plastic, but it's super durable and you can even reuse it if necessary. The portion size is 5*. They charge you extra for eating in, but it's not worth it - which is why I would give it 4.5*, not 5*
It was my first time to Wasabi and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I didn't know that there would be £1 or so added to my meal if I ate in and so did takeaway instead. It was an amazing place and I got the Vegan Katsu bento, Edamame and the Chocolate Dorayaki. The rice was fluffy and the curry tasted just like Maggi (in a good way). The only thing that could have been improved is the quality of the Quorn Katsu and it wasn't hot like the rest of the meal which confused me and wasn't as fresh as I'd have liked. The Edamame was too tough to bite into and the Dorayaki was a little too sweet for my liking. Overall, a great experience and would 💯 come back again! :)
Love it. Best place for cheap and cheerful sushi.
Superb location along the high street just outside the station. Good and plentiful of bento sets to choose from. Its mainly to go but if you can choose to dine in too, make sure you ask them to heat it up for soups and they will gladly do it. Sushi is fresh and yummilicious. It looks out to the high street and good for people watching. Btw, you need to clear up after you have finished.
Great place to get express sushi. This outlet is located within the grounds of high street kensington underground station. There're also bento sets with varieties to choose from e.g. salmon, chicken teriyaki, yakiniku (beef) etc. They even offer heat-up miso soup, good to warm body on a cold day. Seats available to eat-in. Do clear your own food tray thou.
Staff are nice, Pumpkin katsu curry rice bento is delicious
Great sushi and a decent price. Brilliant location.
Chicken slices are smaller than usual but very polite staff.
Nice tasty bento chicken curry. Came in here before hopping on the tube home for some nice hot food to warm up on a cold afternoon. The food was good and I really liked the mango aloe vera drink which was delicious.
My only slight complaint is that the food was warm rather than hot. They are preboxed meals that sit on heat lamped shelves, so it may have been there a while already.
Had a quick bite here place was fine, Food okay ✅
Superb tofu curry Bento. The seasoning was strong enough, but not burn-your-mouth curry. The rice was perfect - much better than the sushi we had a couple of nights ago at Itsu. And the cost was very reasonable. Five stars.
lovely place to have yummy n cheap dinner
