A truly great pub to stop by for a pint when you’re in the Westminster neighborhood. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Unique layout downstairs with a nice meeting room upstairs. A really fun spot with an open, airy vibe on warm days and when Landlord is on cask, what could be better??

Visited this place on a Saturday evening and surprisingly was very laidback and not crowded with few of the tables filled in. The host was perfect suggesting beer for first timers.
The place has a old rustic feeling with the food and the Color. The glass on a rainy night gives just the right feeling

What a find on a trip to London! Lovely little pub just off the back of Victoria. Who can’t beat a decent pint and a cute little pub dog too! Highly recommended 😊

Visited this pub for the first time (on a Monday afternoon, February 2023) and what a gem! A single, dark wood-panelled room downstairs with tall windows on two sides letting in lots of natural light.
The two staff members were both really friendly and were consistently wiping tables soon after customers left. A few daffodils on every table and window ledges were a nice touch, adding to the feeling of a clean & fresh environment.
A really good selection of cask ales for the area. My couple of pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord were excellent.
Only a few minutes walk from Parliament Square but off the beaten track enough not to be too touristy. I will most definitely return and shall recommend this place to others.

Classic English pub, 100% recommended. The bartender babs made us feel so welcomed, sharing stories while sipping great cold Guinness. They also have the cutest wiener dog pub ever (therefor doggo friendly), games to play with friends and a great atmosphere in general. It is a classic for locals. It is a bit small and there is no food so heads-up on that for big groups or dinner time. Otherwise perfect choice for anyone!

It was a great choice, exactly what you expect from a classic British pub.
Good beer , nice service and atmosphere. I'll definitely come back to try other drinks 🖤

Nice quirky pub hidden amongst the buildings, prices are reasonable and staff are friendly

What a wonderful pub. Thomas the owner is super friendly and a great host, as is his dachshund Dr. Frankenfurter. They don’t serve food, but he was quick to let us know we could bring in any we like or even order for delivery. We did just that and enjoyed a couple tasty pints by the window while doing Thomas’s homemade crossword puzzle (which are really tricky). We highly recommend.

Great little pub! Really friendly and welcoming. Always ensure they have enough lovely staff on so you're served quickly even when it's super busy. Dachshund is tres cute too!

Great little find in an area swamped by a lack of ale choice. Great service at the bar to go with a good selection of perfectly kept ales. Had Summer Sun by Twickenham Brewery

This has a great atmosphere and a lovely, comfortable feel to the place. The staff were attentive, and we were all served promptly. This pub is situated 5 minutes walk away from St James Park Underground station.

Just what you want from a London pub. A great meeting place which ticks all the right boxes. There is very attentive and friendly service team and a welcoming Daschund! Although I am not sure if he / she was a one time star.

Great place to find where you want to hang out after wandering lost in London. Tom, the general manager, is super friendly and helps you find just the right beer.

Recently renovated the speaker returns with its old school charm. Always busy with Westminster politico types I have been drinking here intermittently for over 17 years and love the cosy friendly environment. Now it has a private room for booking so offers a lot of options for a central get together. Note that toilets are upstairs so not accessible for wheelchairs.

A cosy little pub tucked away in Westminster, it’s a great after work spot as the bar staff are happy for you to take your drinks outside for a chat. It’s not the most glam of places, surrounded by scaffolding of neighbouring works and opposite a shelter where you are frequently accosted by friendly folk hoping for a bob or two.

Meal options are simple, sandwiches or jacket potatoes, served with a sprinkling of crisps on the side but despite it’s slightly worn feel, you can’t help but have a really nice evening drink here.
