The Chipping Forecast - Soho

LOVED IT!!! Fish and chips was amazing, batter was light and crispy on fish and chips fat, fluffy and crisp. Dessert, something I thought I would never try cause it just sounds wrong to me, Deep Fried Mars Bar, well, OMG, ORGASM😂. Finally, the staff was great and entertaining, big up the chef, Carmen and especially Shi,see you again soon

These deep fried balls of chocolate goodness! I've never had a deep fried Mars bar before and it certainly won't be the last. Excellent recommendation by the staff, perfectly balanced with the chantilly cream 🤤 They had run out of lobster lasagne 🙁 and the Asian slaw wasn't to my tasting, but everything else was 👌 Wheelchair access ❌. There is a large step to get in but staff were more than willing to help. It's also really tight inside and there's no chance of getting to the toilets in the basement. Even still, I enjoyed my meal enough to come back again.

Best fish and chips in London - I've tried both Notting Hill and Soho branches now. People who complain about the price need to understand that this is London where everything costs more, it's a restaurant not a chippy and it's cooked in beef dripping the traditional way, which you can't get anywhere else in the capital. There are plenty of cheaper alternatives in London but they are frankly terrible and cooked in unstable vegetable oils.
