Amazing FRESH vegan food. The macaroni pie has a unique flavor. I usually get two orders of the macaroni pie. The pics are from a couple of months ago.

An amazing plant-based meal whether you are vegan or not. Wide range of choice with generous portions and an amazing taste for very reasonable prices. The mac and cheese was outstanding. Would definitely eat at this place again in the future. Great inspiration to try similar dishes at home too.

Loved this place! The service (ordering the food) was a little bit slow but the taste made up for it. I had the mini platter (where you can select 5 food items) & all of them were delicious. This is probably the best Mac & Cheese (Mac pie) I’ve ever had. Every item was really well done & I would definitely return and recommend

A really nice finding in Brixton. It’s a vegetarian place with super delish vegetarian food! I’m not a vegetarian, but this place has really really good food! The food was cooked freshly! The place is best to go for a group of two or more as the portions are quite big. The plate for one costs about £12.95 that has 6 selections of sides, but we ate it for both of us and we were super full. I loved the macaroni and pumpkin curry, it was just super delish! They have a shared plate for about £22 that has 8 selections of sides. If you’re in Brixton area, this place is worth to visit. The only downside is that the service a bit slow because the menu was not very clear about the food, so people tend to spend more time at the till asking about the food. And the space is also very tiny. Moreover, some tables were not stable and has gaps that made me had some sauce dropped on my trousers through the gaps. 😢

Absolutely delicious vegan food! Caribbean platters per person and so much variety that is all so tasty! Great value for food as well and service was quick with a smile! Sat outside on the benches next to ordering.

Food is really delicious overall. I got the Eden platter which lets you choose seven items. I got: 1. Chickpea curry 2. Seaweed fritter 3. Stew peas 4. Callaloo 5. Macaroni pie 6. Wheat meat 7. Pumpkin and sweet potato curry I also got a side of dumplings and a callaloo patty. I absolutely love love love the callaloo patty, dumplings, seaweed fritters and macaroni pie. The patty was so flaky. The dumplings were great for mopping up the sauce from the curries. I had read some review that said that their dumplings were hard and when I got mine I thought it would be hard but it definitely wasn’t at all. It was wonderfully soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Same with the seaweed fritter - delightfully crunchy and fried with quite a bit of peppers and seaweed in it. (Would’ve liked to get two fritters instead of just one though in the platter since it seemed a bit skimpy to just get one.) The macaroni pie was super “cheesy” and creamy. Wish it was a bigger serving too! The stew peas and chickpea curry are also quite good - good flavor and not spicy - although wish the stew peas had some more dumplings in it since it was mostly beans. If you like bbq sauce, definitely recommend the wheat meat. (I thought it was a little too much bbq sauce on them but the texture of the wheat meat was very good.) Didn’t care for the sweet potato and pumpkin curry as much because it was a little too sweet for me. I think some more spice would make the sweet potato and pumpkin curry better. The callaloo was a little salty to me so I preferred it in the patty than on its own. I was given a really large portion of the callaloo compared to the other things I chose for my platter and would’ve liked a more equal ratio since it was a little overwhelming to have so much callaloo. The service was pretty good. The two people there were so nice and friendly. They did forget to give me my seaweed fritter but when I asked about it they apologized and brought it out to me. They also were very nice when I asked for some tap water and asked for refills - didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all to ask about it. It’s a shame that Britton doesn’t have indoor seating right now since it would’ve made the experience nicer compared to sitting outside since it was a bit cold when I went. Also, I wish the food didn’t come in takeout boxes since a nicer presentation would be preferable considering the price. Several of the items were placed in one box so they got mixed in together. I would’ve liked to be able to try each one individually to compare. Overall though I definitely really liked the food here. They are quite generous with their portions so definitely come super hungry if you want to try everything!

I went for dinner to Eat of Eden (Brixton). As they describe it, their menu is inspired by Caribbean Ital and European recipes. They're famous for their platters, which can be ordered to share, but they also serve curries, vegan burgers, desserts and more. Very pleasant to find out that their menu is fully vegan. More choices! Their branch in Brixton is quite small, with a seating area outside but covered and with a halogen heater. It's more like a grab to go food, but if it's quiet you may find a seat, since people eat and go quite quickly. I had the mini platter, which has 5 items to choose and it's enough food for one. The items I chose were macaroni pie (my absolute favourite!), mushrooms, fritter, chickpea curry and black rice. They also gave me a dumpling for free, which was nice and greasy. What I love about this place is how fresh the food feels, like if your grandma had made it, but with the Caribbean twist of unusual ingredients (ackee, black rice or plantain) and flavours. The prices are also very reasonable, so that's a plus. I'd love it if they had more space or more seating indoors to have a nice meal instead of eat and go. I suppose I need to check their other branches but this is the closest to me! Eat of Eden, a Caribbean vegan flare that will surprise you with unique flavours and a very homemade feel. I would definitely go back!

One of the best lunches (maybe meals) I've had in Brixton (maybe London). Huge flavors, very filling, and vegan. Try the Mac Pie, it's delicious.

The venue is tucked away just off Coldharbour Lane within the Brixton village. The insides are small, but there is ample seating outside, however heaters are at a minimum, so if visiting in inter be sure to wrap up. The service was extremely slow, we waited around 45 minutes in the shivering cold for all our food to come out. When it eventually did arrive the food was delicious great flavor throughout. That being said, cant help but feel the experience was marred by the long wait, possibly a great place in the summer.

With vegan being the hot topic recently, hands down one of the best. Everything taste good, (both shops), and trust me I've been to a good amount of well known (insta worthy) vegan eateries around London. The DOWNFALL. Your stores are never open, with two being permanently closed, Brixton is some timish and their website is not upto date with opening times. (as it states its open)You never know who's looking or travelling down just to to be disappointed. and it don't look good especially being in a food court. The other food stores don't have nothing good to say. I came down with a filming crew to let them try it, after bigging you up just to see it closed and looking very dull compared to your surrounding restaurants. We need to do better as a people. Chef your food is exceptional but you marketing and reliability is off.

Lovely meal, pricing was also good value for money. We got the platter for 2 for (6 dishes each) £35 and we couldn't finish it although we tried as it was soo nice lol, we took the rest home and had the rest for lunch over the following two days.

The tastiest food in Brixton, and such a good variety with the platter, which can be hard to find with plant based in lots of places. 100% recommend eating here!

Such a cute welcoming little place. We ordered the sharing platter for two and everything on it was delicious. I am vegan but my friend isn't and we would both definitely return without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely meal :-)
