Great food, authentic Kerala cuisine and amazing customer service. Definitely recommend for any one. Thank you
Good value and great tasting food, would recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food I would highly recommend coming here with your family.
Best food. 5 stars. Favourite place in london!
I dont normally write reviews . Udaya is making a difference in restaurant business . Their food is just delicious. I am frequent customer of udaya . Pothochoru is my favourite
What can I say?? ...Well a very homesick pregnant wife... Yes my wife, had the cravings once seeing the ad for "POTHICHORU". Being the loving husband that I am. I decided to order one for lunch. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I only ordered one thinking whats the big deal not my kind of thing and I ordered myself a nice beef fry and kappa . OH BOY!! was I wrong. Pothichoru smelt wonderful the second my wife started unwrapping it and before we both knew it we were like two pregnant women getting stuck in. Very tasty and well worth the price actually it fed the both of us and im still finding it hard to move im so stuffed. The taste of the banana leaf was nicley infused to the rice. I thought I was in India with the salted dry fish. Finger licking good Kerala Style I must say. Definatley value for money quantity and quality wise, will absolutly be ordering this again. As for the beef fry and kappa that will have to wait for dinner now. Thanks to Udaya im also in my wifes good books. The more points I get now the better for me when she goes into labour. Thanks Team Udaya.
Ordered food from Udaya Restaurant for my sons bday party yesterday... Have to say the food was simply delicious !!!! I have to say a special mention about Chicken Biriyani !! since coming to UK, this is the first time we had the same taste of biriyani as in kerala !!!
Highly Recommended....
Nice food, clean environment, nice service, will definitely go again.
Absolutely fab malayalie cuisine ‼️totally recommend it...
My favourite kerala restaurant, excellent food!!!!
Really amazing kakka fry pepper chicken and porotta. Worth checking out if u r in the east London area
Travelled approx 2.5 hours to reach this restaurant, as I had heard good reviews about this restaurant, and truly the food didn't disappoint.. The food removed all the tiredness of the travel..
The Netholi fry was the star and would suggest anyone who visits the restaurant to try it out.. you won't be disappointed..
Kappa and fish curry stayed true to the native taste and so did the appam..
Overall loved the entire food experience.. would love to travel again to come and eat here..
Udaya doesn't look like anything special - it's the converted ground floor of a residential house, but the food is excellent! Keralan food is a change from most Indian restaurants in the U.K. - delicate, complex spices and not too heavy. Recommended.
Such a wonderful and amazing food of Kerala in London ...chef Rajeev was so amazing in his cooking .. we tried ..beef ulathiyathu..prawns curry..fish pollichathu and all were superb ..six of us along with two kids enjoyed the food like anything ...keep going ..highly recommended
Definitely the best restaurant in East Ham that serves delicious authentic Kerala cuisine - good quality and you get what you paid for. Hospitality was at top notch - staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. It's a must try place.
Came for my dad’s birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. Top quality Keralan cuisine. The service provided by Gopika and her staff was excellent. I’d recommend this place highly.

Udaya Kerala Restaurant's beef fry and fish polichthu were awesome. The service of the staff was very friendly. I had appam and beef fry from the hotel, and the food was good as compared to the other hotels in the UK (except the Kerala Hut in Northampton because i don’t have food from that hotel).
The Kerala style fried chicken was amazing, the spiciness and the flavours were on point. Highly recommended if you are in the area or if you make a trip just for the food, you will not be disappointed.
Other than chicken fry I had the mutton roast, there special for Sunday which wasn’t bad at all.
The white coffee was the only thing which was a bit underwhelming but other than the food is a definite 5/5.
The best Kerala food we ever tasted in London. Always love have Authentic recipe than fusion. Waiting for the next time to experience the real taste of Kerala
The food at this restaurant was average. The flavors were not as intense as expected, and the taste was a bit bland. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and welcoming, however. The service was good, and the staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable, too. Overall, the restaurant was an okay experience, but it did not stand out.
Great place for authentic Kerala cuisine.. they offer variety of delicious dishes.. the only problem I identified was that the on street parking is free only after 6 pm .. There may be paid parking spaces but not very sure about it ..
Delicious food
We had best kerala biryani 😋 ☆☆☆☆
Fishfry was £18 but test like normal Punjabi fishfry ! ☆☆
Masala Dosa was not enough crispy & filled with too much potato feelings.☆☆
Paneer 65 Very soft and freshpanner fried with curry leaves. ☆☆☆
Service is little slow bcz Only 2 serving person.
All over good place for south indian food.
Amazing authentic Kerala cuisine. I have travelled across Europe and never found such authentic food anywhere else. Highly recommended restaurant in East Ham, London.
Had been there for dinner. Ordered Appam and Chicken Vindaloo, recommended for spicy lovers. The taste and service was good.
I got the real kerala taste beef fry and a good atmosphere
Authentic Kerala taste. Price is also fair and really good for any weekend lunch for me.parking might be a little tricky though. Staff are friendly and ambience is also good. Honestly I prefer places with good food than just atmosphere. Really worth a try if you pass by the area.
Very friendly staff good tasty food. Customer care was excellent.
The only suggestion is to change the upstairs room colour of the painting to a bit more brighter. Change the staircase carpet and put daylight in the staircase.
The food was good especially the fish but the quantity is a bit lesser than other restaurants nearby that we have been to
I went with my mom to have some authentic South Indian food and was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and always smiling and make everything more special. We will for sure be back!
