The place is a good option if you work nearby and want to have a quick group lunch. There is good option for those who enjoy Thai food. Now if you come here expecting the best Thai cuisine then you could be underwhelmed.
I had the fried chicken with rice and it was fine. The chicken felt a bit greasy and can't be enjoyed on its own. It had to be paired with the rice and the accompanying clear soup to cut the greasiness.
Also I had the spring rolls and wings too and they were nice but nothing mind-blowing.
Like I said so go here for a quick informal lunch and make sure to book ahead as it can get crowded during the lunch rush.

Food on spot! Really tasty and good food that arrived quickly! The service was okay I would say average for London. They did keep our table longer because we were late thought so that was nice! I would go back to try more things! The atmosphere was a bit overwhelming, no music and it was really loud

Fresh, open air restaurant on Leather Lane. Great for colleagues to meet at lunch time especially.
Khao soi was sensational, and I was able to modify based on dietary preferences.
Very attentive service, and food came out quickly.
This place is always busy, and for good reason.

Tasty, good and simple. The pad Thai was very lemony and refreshing, spring rolls had kind of this ramen/ chicken soup taste to them. The surroundings were climactic and the staff was kind and helpful and very reactive. The online menu has a good, clear design, and the staff can help you with it. I’ll definitely come back again one day. Great place to wind down with some fulfilling food.
I was alone, but some people near me had a pleasant experience with colleagues. They took some nice sharers.
I’ve only just noticed, but the acoustics are great, it’s not too loud and you can comfortably talk. You will only hear well the people sitting next to you.

Really nice restaurant. Good food. Best to book ahead and reserve a table. Luckily the were able to fit us in.

Came for the khao soi, left with happy smiles. Khao soi tasted more like Malaysian laksa but it's good enough to satisfy my craving for my all time fav from north of Thailand.

Overall, a very good experience with tasty food and friendly staff.
We had a selection of dishes and none of them disappointed. The portions were big and we struggled to finish.
Service was excellent - very communicative and polite staff that advised us on choices.

Good Thai restaurant with industrial style decor with quirky murals/manga inspired drawings on the walls. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Service was good. We had a minor problem with one dish having a different sauce than than the one we ordered, this was immediately fixed with no fuss. Worth noting that all the dishes including starters were served at the same time. The restaurant has a small number of tables outside under gazebos.

Food was lovely and full of flavours. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao with prawns which was very spicy but delicious nonetheless. The place has good vibes and easy to chill out over a glass of wine with a friend.

I liked the relaxing atmosphere and the staffs are attentive. The food that we ordered was nice and not too oily for a stir fry noodle dish. However, I didn't understand why they don't use egg noodle in khao soi but rather some type of somen noodle. Also, on top was supposed to be crispy fried egg noodle but it was all soggy. The aroma and spice mix were perfect though. Generous portion and reasonable price made up are the perks.
I might go back and try other dishes on the menu as most dishes were good.

Extremely poor service and mediocre food. I've been a customer twice and never intending to go back. Each experience was utterly disappointing. My first visit was for lunch with friends and we only ordered desserts (banana fritters) but had to wait an hour for it. The server did not submit our order to the kitchen until only half an hour after taking our order. We probably wouldn't have received our order if we didn't request to have our order checked. My friend had to leave due to time constraint after waiting for so long. The manager from Kin did not let us cancel her order and scolded us for complaining. On another occasion, I did a takeaway order for collection on the phone for dinner. The server on the phone was struggling to take my order correctly because her English is poor. She got it wrong anyway in the end and I only found out after I reached home and realise she had given me the wrong dish. I called and requested they rectify their mistake and made my trip back to Kin. After receiving my correct order, the server requested that I pay again for the food. Never eating at KIN again!

Delicious food ....go and check it out!

Popped in here for a quick lunch, waited 15 minutes and paid 9 pounds for what was a side salad of rocket and three tiny skewers of lamb. Service also left much to be desired. Won’t be returning here. Much much better food around for half the price

Leather lane is the place for street food and even better is when one of those lunch time traders sets up their stall permanently.Kin, an oriental fusion trader has their restaurant on Leather Lane and I was encouraged to visit here with my friends and try out their green curry. I did as I was told.

Kanaloa is a Tiki paradise located right near Chancery Lane tube – decorated with bamboo bars, garlands and hawaiian trees, it is a decent venue with cocktails served in coconuts and pineapples. There are also treasure chests...

Suitably named Kin, meaning “eat” in Thai, this restaurant offers a variety of typical Pan-Asian food. Ranging from chicken katsu curry, Singapore noodles and pad thai to salads, soups and green chicken curry, there is plenty to choose from. All dishes are reasonably priced around £8-10. Good service and authentic food.

What an underrated place. Food and service was excellent. Authentic flavours to make me reminisce about South East Asia. This place is going places and although pleasantly quiet on a Saturday night, I suspect that soon you will have to queue out of the door for a table

Great Thai food and amazing stuff. Love their Green Curry for lunch, Chicken Pad Kra Pao is also really good, but ask for more sauce. Good for both lunch and dinner.
Fred
Very bad service and unfriendly atmosphere. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Jack of all trades but master of none? Following my stiflingly average experience at Banana Tree , I wasn't enthused about trying another budget pan-Asian eatery but the need for a cheap meal after a hard day's slog at work prompted me to visit Kin.

Great food that is well cooked and well seasoned. Great service, the staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure that you have all that you need to enjoy your meal. Great decor, it's a colourful, modern, casual, yet warm place. Great dessert, I love the coconut ice cream with banana fritters, we had the green tea ice cream. Definitely a place to go if you're looking for good thai food and a great experience.
