The nearest station to this pub is Oval. This was my after work local for quite a while and it's always welcoming. There's a little beer garden to the rear of the pub and a small stage where bands perform at the weekends with a few sofas to lounge on.
The food is always nice here and quick too! Great staff and good vibes.
We had a wonderful experience! We organized an after-meeting get-together with the office team and received assistance a great customer service from the very beginning. The food and atmosphere were impeccable, and the team there was super efficient and courteous. We will definitely be returning! :)
I called in here after getting caught in a thunderstorm the staff were very friendly and professional, they have a lovely menu and a wide selection of beers and wines.
The gents toilet was very unusual and unique but a great use of empty kegs.

Called in on our way to the oval. This is a popular local with many places reserved but we still received a warm welcome and found seats in the sheltered garden. Service was quick and helpful and although the range of beers was a little restricted on the day we visited we found something we enjoyed. While we were there we tried a couple of snacks. The tempura prawns and chilli sauce were delicious but the battered cauliflower wings were absolutely outstanding. They were hot in temperature and in spice and left a lingering sensation in your mouth. A great pub to visit if you are in the area for good food and drink and great service.

Very pleasant pub, they have a secret which only the right people know about, worth trying to find it! Good value and lots of offers on food and drink, including on weekends. They play sports too. Comfortable and good value, tucked away slightly too but very solid. Would recommend and expect to visit again
We were super hungry when we came in after a few bottles of wine in central London.
I chose the beef burger with blue cheese.
The burger itself was very nice but I somehow could not get much of the blue cheese flavour 🤷🏻♀️
Overall was very cute in there and it seemed like a small community.
Also they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays which is always a bonus for me in a pub.
Lovely friendly pub with great people behind the bar. Lots of televisions, geared towards the sports, rugby coming on even during the football world cup, well done. You can escape to the beer garden if you want to avoid sporting endeavours, it's not intrusive anyway! Good, simple pub menu. Certainly worth a visit, give the Pilgrim a try!
Good happy hour here! definitely worth the visit. Found it a bit strange when they were showing repeat football from a while back but still good! Nice staff nice atmosphere
