Shakespeares Head - London - Photo album

Steak and ale pie was not bad. The filling was a slightly on the thin side. The crust thick and very hard. I had to wait more than 20 minutes for it. It was surprisingly satisfying and not bad. Otherwise staff service was good and the atmosphere was lively.
Traditional pub, very nice atmosphere, historical spirit. Burger, fish and chips, IPA and Guinness, everything was ok, without waiting (during Friday's evening). Recommended.
Great restaurant, great taste of food. The only negative point is that we waited for 45min, when we were warned about 30min of wait. A little bit much regarding the number of people here just to drink. Otherwise it was perfect, the lady is incredibly kind.
It's British food. What do you need to know? The girls I went here with were cool. Four of them used to be Mormon and the other is secular. I became friends with the secular one and we keep in touch. She lives in Ohio, I live in Texas. We had a fun pub crawl the next day. Her, I and this Vegan from
Always a decent pub, the bar staff could have been a little more attentive
A great pub with a great selection of classic pub food. The service was great and the food was tasty. There is a decent amount of seating but it can get very busy, especially when live sport is on.
Lovely place but the queue were a bit too much and we waited a bit long at the bar. The atmosphere and outside sitting was amazing. Draught beer is was very nice.
Very tasty food in a typical pub atmosphere. Highly recommend the fish and chips and the burger. It's all ok. However, the toilet area could use some cleaning. Then everything would be perfect.
First time here Nice and clean Friendly and helpful staff The food was delicious 😋
Very very good place. 🇬🇧 Amazing food and good prices.
Was very busy but the friendly staff managed to seat us. Nice venue although I found the burger to be a little dry.
Cheery staff, nice traditional English pub, I've been going here for over 40 years and it's survived pretty well although could do with a lick of paint
We were walking around Carnaby street and stopped in to get out of the rain. Great food and Paula was nice enough to take pity on us and provide us with umbrellas they had laying around as we hadn’t brought any with us. Thank you Paula.
Just had a couple of beers in this beautiful old pub
