The staff were amazing so accommodating and warm. We've eaten at other locations and as usual the food was fantastic. The starters were brilliant and we had pasta for mains, two of their signature dishes which didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this place is excellent value for money!

My sister and I had lunch from the 3 course vegetarian menu and we were both delighted by the good service and excellent food. My favourite course was the starter: creamy burrata with grilled aubergine and a hazelnut pesto, in one word delicious!

Servizio e cibo impeccabili contornati da un'atmosfera piacevole e una buona carta dei vini...da provare e riprovare, per ritrovare un pezzo di buona Italia e sentirsi un po' più a casa.

I didn't went to the normal restaurant, but they have a food truck outside only for pizzas and is awesome! The pizza is just enough for one person and is delicious. I had a pizza carbonara that was very good with a egg in the middle. The price is quite good sitting around 8 pounds each. They don't have drinks there!

Attractive space and attentive service, but we might have gotten special attention because they noticed the Italian in our party. We attended the discounted soft launch. Food was good. Menu was ambitious but not everything was perfectly executed. Given that at full price our meal for four would have rang in over £200 (including 2 bottles of wine and service) I would normally expect every dish to be good. Though to be fair our bill was large due to the rather copious meal we had with quite a lot of shared starters. I don't think they are overpriced for the quality of food delivered.

We started by ordering the Antipasto Misto, and a bread basket because the Italian at our table got excited by the fact that it contained pane carasau, a paper thin flatbread from Sardinia. The prosciutto and mortadella on the charcuterie board were memorable.

Off the starters menu we had the pork fillet, prawns crudo, beef tartar and octopus. I didn't get to taste the pork. Prawn tartare was sliced into thin slivers and dressed with yuzu dressing. A nice dish, if a small portion. But I guess if you weren't sharing there is only so much raw prawn one wants to eat. Beef tartar could have been punchier for my taste, as there wasn't any caper or onion in this version. However, the sous vide egg yolk on top was a magnificent texture. Beef was a nice texture too, being hand chopped. Braised octopus was beautifully tender if an unattractive grey colour. The Italian refused to eat it because if its looks. The more for the rest of us. Overall, we found most of the starters a little under seasoned, but that's something that can be corrected to taste at the table.

We each ordered a main. I had the smoked lamb rump medium rare which was good though a somewhat dainty portion. I didn't really discern the smokiness in the meat, but the charred slices of onion were a highlight. Another excellent component was the smoky BBQ celeriac garnish. The other orders for mains were the rabbbit ragout tagliatelle, the porcini paparadelle and the sea bass with clams. Everyone was happy with their choice.

For dessert we all shared a single order of the blackberry doughnut. Very small portion with a spherical doughnut the same diameter of a £2 coin. it was unpleasantly tough and dense. There was ice cream on the plate, but the star of the dish were bits of meringue-like freeze dried shavings of yoghurt.

There was a mix up regarding the soft launch discount on our bill that got corrected. We were offered a round of limoncellos on the house by way of apology. I thought that was a very gracious gesture.

Excellent contemporary Italian food at very reasonable prices. Seems best suited for couples and small groups. The food philosophy comes across as shareable entree and non shareable mains. Well curated wine list.

Service: 5/5. Value for money 4/5. Liquid taste 5/5. Food taste 4.6/5. My 2nd visit and an excellent experience both times. Amazing Portuguese wine - the 'Prunus' is now my favourite. Very reasonably priced pizza (6-8£) done on a fire oven downstairs adds price friendliness to the food menu (I don't know if this is permanent). Great experience!

Great modern Italian food which is a cut above the standard high street fair. Prices are ok for the area, but wine is a little pricey compared to the food. Service was friendly and attentive. Restaurant itself was a little noisy due to all the tables being close together, so not a place to take the grandparents to. The light and fluffy zucchini fries are highly recommended, they come in a huge portion and whet the appetite! Worth noting that the menu on the website was different to the one at the restaurant so if you're the kind of person that likes to pick what you order in advance, you may be disappointed.

I have celebrated the birthday of my girlfriend in this restaurant and the service was perfect from the beginning until the end. I am a tough client who demands a lot, the staff and the restaurant really impressed me! The place is beautiful and the food it's really good. They offer a huge selection of wines from Italy and worldwide. We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu. Thank you a lot Lucie & Riccardo to take care of us and offering a great experience!

Superb Italian. Maybe going slightly downhill as the chain expands. Waiter was constantly talking up our choices. But that's OK. He has to make a living too. Main thing is the food is excellent. We'd had so many starters that we worried than than mains would be too much. The portions were small, so not a problem, but the quality was excellent. Visit now before it's a soulless chain.

Liked the venue and decor, service is very good and staff are friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Portions are about right, price wise for this part of London I would think its above average. Starter, main, desert and drink is just over £50 a head.

Love this place, great food, lovely ambience, friendly knowledgeable staff. It is smallish but then I think that's a good thing as it makes it more intimate and less of a fishbowl. Great wine list to choose from too.

Staffs are very welcoming. When I visited last time, it was very busy, but waiters tried to take care of all the tables. They kept checking tables if customers needed something more or served the next food. Food was great too. I definitely recommend here.

The food is far better than the venue. The location is splendid but the premises are a little small and compromised. We’ve eaten here 5 or 6 times and The food is consistently excellent. It’s a bit small though and so make sure you book.

At lunch time they set up a small outdoor pizza joint in the back of the restaurant (same road as the draft house) that makes one of the best pizzas you can have in London. Great as a take-away lunch option, although they also have a couple of tables.

went to Enoteca Da Luca in Old Street with a friend and a couple of vouchers from Time Out. We both chose a burrata onto a layer of aubergines, risotto and tiramisu'. The food was absolutely outstanding, with excellent quality ingredients. We had a couple of prosecco glasses included in the menu. Coming from the prosecco area, I really did not like the quality, but the staff was helpful in providing me with an open choice of different wines. We missed some bread, that unfortunately was not included in the set menu, even though a small basket of grissini and bread should be present in every italian restaurant. Donatella

Great selection of classic small plates of Italian staples. Arancini fine and crunchy. Ragu with pappardelle also good. Selection of wine OK for the area (City/hip Shoreditch fringes). Good coffee.
