Ptoper old school traditional back street London pub. Has character. Several small oak panelled bars.

Visited here with a group of work colleagues Great service from Carl behind the bar and one of the best pints of Guinness you'll get in London

Cracking pint, cracking gaff - only come in about once every two or three weeks but the beer (and the welcome) are always good - not much more you could ask for really.

Great pub, good selection of beer and cider, helpful bar staff and always seem to find a table inside as most people are drinking outside

Best service and hospitality in London from our new friend Kyle! One of the oldest pubs in London, this place is not to be missed if you are anywhere near the Barbican area (and worth the journey if you are a bit farther away). Incredibly easy to access from the Barbican/Farringdon tube stops. So much history in this place, can’t recommend highly enough. We were only here for drinks, as they are not historically known for food - however, Kyle is beginning to add handmade sandwiches (and soon to carry proper fish & chips) to the menu as well. Unfortunately, we only had 2.5 days to explore London, yet we still found our way into this particular pub 4 times - the only place we visited more than once!

Good boozer which has a youthful vibe. Plenty of good ale and lagers together with a good wine selection. A place for young, and older alike. Not to be missed, especially the vv friendly staff. Highly recommended

Excellent pub, great beer, wonderful staff. Not much more to be said. Oh, and extremely handy for Farringdon on the Elizabeth Line, opposite exit to the main station
