Went there yesterday just one thing had a veggie friend with me and selection was poor for vegetarian
I went for the beef burger it was just the way I like it. Waiter was friendly and welcoming and we ordered a bottle of wine. In terms of pricing it was very reasonable 20gbp for bottle of white wine and 15gbp for burger not bad at all and portions were decent.
The decor was nice but not over the top and it wasnt loud in there. Staff had attention to detail

I had a Flat White, Vegan Pancakes and French toast at Balans, and chose to sit outside to enjoy a side of sunshine!
The vegan pancakes was fresh, fluffy and well paired with berries and maple syrup. You could chose between banana and berries as a topping.
The French toast was topped with banana and pecan nuts.
The portion of the food, and drinks was great. Service was fabulous, a waiter came to our table every 10 minutes to ask if we were okay. Overall a great brunch spot!
It was the perfect weather for us to sit in Balans' outdoor seating and enjoy a delectable brunch. I ordered an eggs royale while my partner ordered some fried chicken. The smoked salmon was flavourful and the English muffins were nicely textured. However, the poached eggs were slightly overcooked.
Overall, a good spot for a quick brunch in the middle of a shopping spree at Westfield, especially when the weather's sunny!
Ordered Fried Chicken Pancake, Thai Red Curry, Prawn Linguine, Three Cheese Quesadilla along with drinks. Waited less than 15 minutes food was served. Compliments to the chef, the signature dish tasteful was the Fried Chicken Pancake. All the other dishes were equally appetising. Michael did well in service.
Without doubt my favourite place for breakfast.
The options on the menu are alot more satisfying than most places.
But for me I never change my mind, I always want the steak and eggs. Healthy, high protein, good quality produce.

We had the breakfast Burrito and the mushroom omelette that came with roast potatoes, both very tasty. Happy with the portion size as it was quite big. Although it's a bit pricey you definitely get what you pay for.
I had a scrambled eggs with salmon as well as chicken pancakes.
The salmon was quite fresh, however the eggs were very oily and the toast was not good quality.
The pancakes with chicken were good, although some of the dish was missing.
Importantly, I have been served by Mihai who has been very careful and attentive throughout our meal.
I can’t fault this place and I’ll be going again with g’friends. Great atmosphere, great music, great cocktails - outstanding pancakes ( absolutely gorgeous and fresh and fluffy ) I’m definitely a pancake connoisseur ☺️Manager: She was so so lovely and the staff are just on point, so friendly. Went to Balans East for birthday brunch. The buttermilk Chicken doughnut was tasty and so was the Virgin mojito. Staff was friendly and engaging. The place was clean as well. Would definitely recommend for lunch or brunch.
Delicious food (we got fried eggs on sourdough with a sausage on the side) fast service which we were very great full for as we had a flight to catch! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The ketchup also gives Heinz & Chef a run for their money! 👏🏼
Great spot for brunch, food was great, got the chicken and pancakes as well as the balans potatoes which were well seasoned. Mihai was a great server. Would come back!
