Stumbled across this spot the other day looking for food in peckham with vegan options
Cozy vibe and it's BYOB with no corkage fee!
Staff were friendly and attentive + the food was sensational. We got the falafel mezze with a side of rice + a side of okra stew.
The pistachio hummus was insane and the falafels were the best I've had in a while. (I eat a lot of falafel being vegan) 😂 Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside
Would deffo recommend - decent price too. Meal came to £21 total and we were stuffed

The food here is amazing!!! So tasty and good portion sizes at a reasonable price! Only reason I didn't give 5* is because they had no drinks as it is a BYOB restaurant. Staff were helpful and friendly, toilet was clean. Great place, I'll be back!
What a find! We live locally and had been walking past this place for years, thinking it was something else. Well it was something else! Delicious, generous portions of authentic kurdish cooking. Veggie options stunning too. The place had a great vibe and the spices and smells coming from the kitchen were fantastic. We had the beetroot and dumping stew and the 'burger' - both amazing. Can't recommend this place enough, we will be back to work our way through the rest of the menu very very soon!

Wonderful first visit to Yadas's Green Kitchen on Peckham Rye. Delicious food served by friendly and attentive staff. I'd never had Kurdish food before and thoughly enjoyed my chicken finjan, a delightfully slow cooked chicken stew with walnut and pomegranite sause served with saffron rice. You've no doubt heard about the BYOB concept so don't expect anything other than tap water or a soft drink. A thoughly enjoyable afternoon spent on a balmy platinum jubilee Friday afternoon.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Good value for money. Super busy and popular though so try to arrive in good time if you don’t want to eat super late. A must visit in Peckham. Absolutely delicious.

Really good value for money - really big portions, plus BYOB.
6 of us paid circa £100 for the group, everyone had mains and a few had starters.
I'd highly recommend the mixed meat platter (serves 2-3 for 40 IIRC) - the lamb and chicken were sooo flavourful, and will certainly be heading back when next in Peckham. The chicken stew was amazing on this platter too!
The only reason the atmosphere was 3/5 was because when we entered we were the only ones in the restaurant (5pm on a saturday, and as a result there was no music playing) once our full party was there and it started to fill out, some music came on etc.
It's cash only, so be sure to withdraw from the ATM across the road or come with cash.
The best of the best. Food quality, ambience, friendliness, service, location, value for money, BYOB. You name it Yada's got it. Please don't tell anyone. Highly recommended.
