We came with bigger expectations.
The food: the duck (the breasts) was amazing! Juicy , crispy and rich with flavours. The black cod and the “dim sum symphony” - were very delicious!
BUT on the other hand , the Bresse chicken was a huge disappointment and the second serve of the duck was mediocre .
Amazing Cantonese restaurant with dumplings, duck and other Chinese delicacies. Food it's really tasty, doesn't feel oily like other restaurants which it's really nice. Service it's correct, with explanation on dishes. Everything was perfectly cooked, keeping all its flavours. Dumplings were special
Great place to go if you’re looking for a fancier dinner! Peking Duck was great, but a bit fattier than my personal preference, dim sum was filled to the brim and really tasty, as was the soft shell crab! Would come again because service and experience was excellent.
Amazing food and ambience. One of the best dim sum fest I’ve ever had in London. Having a lunch here was a great experience. However, the service was a bit disappointing for a one-michellin-starred restaurant—the waiter did not seem to have any understanding of the menu and had to make myself repeat
Went for the lunch time menu to see if it was worth going for as it is a pricey place. But rest assured I and my partner felt it was definitely worth it. Food was delicious. Highlight was the char siu bun and the two mains(lamb dish and sweet sour pork). Each of the other dim sum pieces was nice too
Amazing food, decent cocktails, and a wine list that provides option across the price range. Dumplings were fantastic, but I think they really shines with abalone rice, lobster noodles and the amazing Vouvray we had. Will be back. LC5.
Beautiful little dim sum spot in an old chapel close to Borough Market! Loved everything from the food to the service to the décor here. There's definitely the typical dim sum dishes you'd find in any dim sum restaurant, but there's also lots of other inventive dishes available too. The tea selectio
Surprisingly good. Wasn’t sure what to expect but having been to the one in HK, I did have fairly high expectations and it did not disappoint. Food was very good and probably the best Cantonese food I’ve had in U.K. so far. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is unique and enjoyabl
I was looking for a great restaurant to surprise my parents after our visit to the Shard, and it didn’t disappoint.
Duddell’s is a great restaurant with excellent service, great atmosphere and really elaborated and tasty dishes. The duck is of course a must and I would strongly recommend the soups,
The restaurant is located in an old church from the 15 century. Large space scattered with modern art artifacts. Great bar and unique cocktails. Delicious food, cantonease style, well crafted and cooked. Fresh produce cooked to perfection. Surprising and enjoyable. Worth coming again and again to tr
Peking duck is mesmeric: skin has a fantastic crispy texture and the meat is juicy and tender. The seafood dumplings here are also brilliant. Cantonese food at its finest.
Chic, stylish restaurant serving some truly excellent food. We had dim sum which was wonderful and really up there with things I’d had at places in HK. Har gau, siu mai, crispy bun all excellent. Truffle spring roll and the taro croquettes weren’t great but still good.
Go and try anything you like
Canto food for foreigners! Truffle spring roll (v), the excellent black pepper sauce mock chicken (v), prawn based dim sum (rather than pork mince based), very eggy braised tofu (v) and more (v) truffle fried rice. All good except one of the desserts of Sichuan Pepper Pineapple - couldn’t taste the
