I love this place, I'm in here 2-3 times a week, best veggie Indian, in fact best Indian.
Great value, amazing diversity of dishes, it's great. Lots of people from my coworking space come here too.
I love this restaurant so much and come whenever I can! Lovely staff, great with friends or family and beautiful food!
I went to Ravi Shankar for a corporate meeting. As soon as I entered I was overwhelmed to enter into this place.
I loved the dal makhni and shahi paneer. The interiors and decors were very beautiful.
I would highly recommend you guys to go to this outlet.
The service was excellent. Efficient but not obtrusive. We only had a main course and soft drinks but the food was excellent, tasty and well presented. I had korma and my husband a lamb dish ( can't remember what!). The naan bread was delicious. The bill was very reasonable for the London suburbs
Amazing veg buffet...huge range of choice and authentic indian taste in london. Nice ambiance and great service. Sadly they dont have enough vati/ small bowls and they asked me not to use bowls as they dont have enough which means that i would end up mixing the range of dishes in the plate LoL. Can restaurant managment clarify how customers are suppose to take range of dishes in a plate togather without mixing them up....i mean without using magic seriously LoL.
Had the best Rava masala dosa here. The place is cozy and accessible, almost in the heart of London. My British friends too loved fhe food as it was customized per their taste n spiciness.... Recommended strongly.
One of the best restaurants in Central London if you are craving for Indian food... Amazing Achaari Paneer and Cheese or Garlic Naan... Must eat items :) ;) And an extra plus point is the desserts that they have in the menu from srikhand to gulaab jamun to gajar halwa... loved it :) :)
Ravi Shankars is still good, but not as good as it used to be. The decor is now tired and old looking, the lights are too bright, the tables now packed in like a diner, and the service perfunctory. The food is still good, though I will look for other Indian restaurants in London rather than return here.
Great Vegetarian Indian Food!. I used to eat here all of the time. This place had the best sagg aloo I have ever had. I loved their nann bread and at the time they did not have a liquor license so you could bring your own bottle.
We randomly decided to stop at this place for dinner as we saw a lot of crowd at this place happily enjoying their meal. After a quick glance at their menu, my partner went for the tasting menu and i went for their daily specials. The food quality was excellent and tasted perfect. It is reasonable on your pocket as well. Worth a visit!
This place is highly recommended even though they have a vegetarian menu. They have priced there food quite reasonably. They food tasted wonderful with various types of flavors. The service here is good. While we took our time to enjoy the food we were not rushed. In all, We had a lovely experience.
Are you looking for some lip smacking, tangy Indian snacks? This just the right place to be. Right from the variety of the food that is offered to the helpful staff to the pocket friendly menu you think of it and you have it. You can visit this on one of those occasions when you are hungry and you want to grab your supper!

I love that I can go somewhere and not have to worry about cross contamination.
My son and I visited here after a day of theatre and visiting Regent’s Park.
The staff gave us a table without booking as we got there early when there was only one other occupied table. It gradually filed up during the two hours we were there.
The only server genuinely friendly was the gentleman who spoke with my son a few times. The others barely acknowledged me when I was ordering or checking on our meal.
The poppadoms were lovely. The onion bhajia’s were phenomenal. I didn’t really care for my saag aloo as it was too oily but the mushroom rice was absolutely delicious. The roti was tasty.
My son had two mango lassis and he loved them.
Normally I’d enjoy having that much time in a restaurant but it was very quiet yet it took too long to get our food. I did explain that we didn’t want to wait long between courses and the waiter said okay…okay apparently doesn’t mean this will be passed on to the kitchen.
They automatically include a service charge then ask you if you’d like to add a tip. I understand there’s a cost of living crisis & I understand London is expensive but their prices aren’t cheap as it is! Adding a service charge then expecting a bigger tip isn't playing fair.
Overall I did enjoy the food and would go again.
I had an absolutely fantastic meal here tonight, my first visit in probably more than a decade. Reading some of the negative reviews, I really thought we were taking a risk by returning. But the service was excellent, the food was fabulous, there was no weirdness about whether we were paying by cash or card (some common gripes), and overall it was as good as I always remember it being. We loitered for an hour or so after we had finished our food, and were never pressurised to move on. Of course we would have been happy to if there had been people waiting, but I think many of those complaining must have gone to a different restaurant than the place I greatly enjoyed this evening. Admittedly prices are higher than my last visit, but two of us had a three course meal, with three large beers between us (the alcohol licence is relatively new, I think!), and with service it came to £57.
Excellent, fresh tasty Indian vegetarian food. Been enjoying this place for decades always provides delicious meals by Euston station. Try it!
Great paper dosas here, thin crispy fresh made & accompanied with sambhar, chutney, savory soup & potato masala. Tastiest dosas we've tried this side of the world. They also offer All You Can Eat Buffet for L12.95 on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Great place, awesome food!
Very good, established South Indian restaurant. Excellent vegetarian food from a varied menu.
I took my father & daughter for the buffet on Sunday. We took a few bhel puri away.
Huge variety from daal to dosas. A few puds & fresh fruit as a dessert .... if u've any room in your tum . One of the few places where being a vegetarian would be a pleasure...!
Delicious vegetarian Indian food!
Until 15:00 there is a great buffet with lots of different sauce and traditional Indian dishes!
Great selection of salads, fruit and sweet!
Extremely welcome and friendly atmosphere with good service and all this for only 6,9£ per person!
If you are looking for a healthy and not very expensive lunch or dinner, this is a great choice!
Highly recommend!
Nice restaurant, buffet is a bargain and you should definitely go on an empty stomach! Great selection of vegetarian food - it is exclusively vegetarian. Other menu items fantastic too, I recommend the Dosa's! On the downside, they like you to pay in cash only, unless your table pays together in one single card transaction. Waiters friendly too, although sometimes a little pushy to sell you extras. They like to be tipped too! Overall, very tasty food and good quality. I visit regularly.
One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Euston area. I've visited the restaurant for lunch buffet on many occasions and was never disappointed once. The selection of items from starters to sweets/desserts is good. It gets very busy at lunch and getting seats for a small group is difficult. Very good value for money.
This place is authentic. My friend "Amit"(not his real name) has always recommended this restaurant and it has never let us down. He knows good food.
Great variety and a good buffet too. Excellent for a quick bite and more north and south Indian style dishes than your brick lane curry houses or Tayyabs. Recommend it. You will like it.
