I had been here with a friend of mine. I loved the ambience and the staff. The staff is very friendly and gave good recommendation on the food. This is the only British restaurant I love.

Very good Sunday roast, good location and excellent setting for a nice Sunday stroll and lunch out. Good value for money. I would recommend.

Amongst the labyrinth of Greenwich's cobblestone paths you will find a Hidden gem that is the Yacht. Overlooking Canary Wharf, The 02 and the river Thames it doesn't get much more iconic than this. Despite it's idyllic location it's usually quiet, this could be due to it's pricey menu, but if you want a quiet moment to collect your thoughts with a pint or two then this is the place for you.

If you’re a Greenwich student, make this your alternative place to host a society Christmas dinner rather than Frankie and Benny’s. Behind the Trafalgar Tavern and just off the university, this British restaurant is hidden from view but well worth the find.

There’s not much on offer for vegetarians, but the goat’s cheese burger is superb so you won’t be sulking for long. If you don’t want anything too pricey, you can simply order some chips (or nachos to share, which I strongly recommend), sit on a table by the window and enjoy your food with the view of the Thames.

Very welcoming and friendly bar staff, tucked away down one of Greenwich's many cobbled paths. I wouldn't have known it was there if I hadn't been led to the door.

The inside is very cosy with smoking room decor and a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by the sounds of the Thames lapping up against the walls. The window seats are best.

The selection of food was good, neither too simple or complex. We ended up requesting a tailored dish not on the menu and they were happy to oblige. (Cheesy chips with jalapeños if anyone is interested.)

Great place near Greenwich Park, right in the bend of the Thames. Been here a few times and enjoyed drinks at the window where you can see the sun go down in the west and also downstream to the east. Across the water is Canary Wharf - great views of London from here. The pub itself has good drinks and nice staff. They showed the football followed by the rugby when I was last there. Friendly place. They also let a friend bring his bike in as he didn't have a lock - you don't get that everywhere! It is also very dog-friendly and makes for a welcoming experiencing. We ate some of the bar snacks which varied from sausages to chicken wings - all tasty and delivered to the table quickly. Easy to get to on the DLR (alight at Cutty Sark). Leaving there we were able to get Lime bikes which made it pretty swift to get home.

Wow!! Had such a lovely time here at the The Yacht, Greenwich!! Me and my boyfriend stopped off here last Wednesday during a rainy afternoon and purchased two portions of salted chips and a cheesy garlic bread. We then helped ourselves to the available tap water. With the help of student discount it came to £8.36!! Which was well below our lunch budget, and allowed us to spend the rest of our money in the lovely market near by. I’ve lived in Greenwich my whole life but this was the first time I had ever visited The Yacht. Unfortunately the food did take a while to arrive, despite how little we ordered, but we understood that it was due to the lack of staff and only one chef. Which is completely understandable:) The atmosphere was wonderful for us, it was very quiet and calm, which is something I loved, but wasn’t expecting. As the time passed it did get louder and busier, but I understood why. I really recommend :))

Sunday Roast with a view - delicious! I rang 30 mins before arrival to see if there was space. Ollie (I think) was very welcoming and made everything very easy. I will return

The pub is a fantastic choice for spending time! With delicious food and beverages, it offers a warm and inviting setting. It's an ideal spot to kick back with friends and enjoy yourselves. The friendly vibe makes it even more appealing. If you're in the mood for relaxation and good company, the pub is the place to be!

Haven't been here since long before first lockdown..... Will definitely be returning ⭐ not only do you get great drink & wine choices at great prices for Greenwich, but a wonderful view and comfortable seats! The gentleman serving us was friendly and helpful, we ordered food and were very happy with it, the Mac and Cheese was amazing, it came with a side salad & garlic ciabatta which were fresh and delicious. My partner had the bacon and cheese burger 🍔 which he said was extremely good and cooked perfectly! **Update Great pub with amazing views of the Thames , hidden gem, bar staff are amazing, shout-out to Meola she is so welcoming, always has a smile, friendly & knows what she's doing 5⭐ service

This is a beautiful pub, brilliant location right on the waters edge of the Thames. It's a little (3 minutes) from the centre of Greenwich, but worth the walk. The food is good, pretty standard pub fare, fish and chips, pie and chips etc. portions are not massive for the price, but you are getting a great view on a lovely pub. Well worth the walk

Went today with Otik (my border collie). Bloke behind the bar got water for her without even being asked! Decent ale and the food was great and reasonably priced also. Great views. More real than touristy. 5 stars 👍

We have enjoyed a nice lunch there wirh excellent river views. We had fish and chips and salt beef burger and fries. The food was freshly cooked and tasty while the batter on the fish was light and crispy and not at all oily. The staff were attentive and very welcoming bur also everyone behind the bar had said goodbye to us which is very difficult to find anywhere else. I would definitely return here but I also recommend it.

Having the loveliest time at The Yacht, in Greenwich. Meola is behind the bar and is terrific! She's taking such good care of us and all the other punters. Spring is here and she's our little ray of sunshine. Good work!

I only had a drink here but it was really lovely i loved the decor and atmosphere! The view was pretty great too. It was a nice chilled place which was perfect seeing as we'd just walked around Greenwich market! The food did look and smell lovely and the menu was covered with tasty sounding treats next time I'll be sure to try something! Probably the rosemary salted chips because they sounded scrumptious! Ps the pictures are of the view 😊

Big fish and chips! Needless to say, I did finish it. First time having peas with my fish & chips, but I guess that's how it's served in the UK? Amazing food, they've got AC and lots of room to sit. About the food: 1. The batter was just right, not too thick or thin. 2. Tartar sauce was great 3. Butter on the bread just melts 4. Onion and peas were... different. Had a gin and tonic in a big glass which was delicious.
