Offers a decent selection of tapas/sharing dishes. I found the potion sizes to be really generous. Three dishes is more than enough per person; i had a dessert on top of this and was royally stuffed by the end of the evening. Loved all the dishes i had, especially the molten chocolate cake. Service needs improvement. Our waiter forgot to bring some drinks so we had to remind him. He ended up sticking through these drinks as a new order. Luckily we noticed when paying the bill and got them removed. They were also slow to bring out some of our dishes and it was rather unequal: some people had all three dishes that they ordered whilst others were still waiting for their first dish. The decor was certainly interesting, especially in the toilet cubicles. If you live and work in Waterloo or the Southbank, i recommend getting the Star Card as was used this to get 20% off the bill. There is also 2 for 1 cocktails before 6pm!

We went to Hello Darling during its opening week for dinner. We tried a number of dishes including, the heritage tomatoes with whipped feta which was nice. The roasted carrot and lentils with salsa verde was also good. The soft shell crab was average and I'd skip this dish. The duck confit leg was crispy but dry (perhaps overcooked). The slow braised lamb was good and hearty. The cocktail we tried was over priced and not great. The star of our meal was definitely the dessert. We had the rhubarb and frangipanie tart which was unique and excellent. The ambiance was pleasant and the food was very well timed (especially considering it was only open for a week). Some of the staff seemed confused at times but I'm sure this will improve over time.

We popped in for a quick cocktail or two, ok...ok...four..it was 2 for 1...and stayed for dinner, soooooo glad we did! Service was excellent, non intrusive but knowing. Food was sublime as was the decor, the detail throughout was a master stroke in experiences - we are now looking to book the rooms for our party - many thanks for the tour...x

Absolutely fabulous meal. Friendly, relaxed staff, homely decor, really beautiful, creative food. Bread was incred. Choc pudding divine. Don't miss the pulled pork either.

Beautiful restaurant with great attention to detail. Food was overall pretty good, the wood pigeon was an absolute standout and definitely something I'd have again! Wasn't blown away by any of the salad-type tapas meals but still enjoyed them. Main complaint was the 'focaccia', which was just a regular loaf of bread. If you are expecting real focaccia (medium-thin, salty etc.) don't order this as it ended up being a tasteless and doughy carb addition that sat on the side of our table untouched. Overall an enjoyable experience and I would visit again to try the rest of the menu.

Lovely new place by Lambeth north. The food is yummy and the portions were surprisingly decent given it's meant to be a tapas kind of place. The cocktails are also very creative and delicious.

We only had a drink here hence the 4 stars as can't judge the food. The atmosphere is bohemian verging on art deco. Buzzing and vibrant. Well worth a visit.

We did not eat, just went for a drink or two. Lovely place decorated in a bold stage paint way makes a change from the regular commercial interiors. Service was good but they had run out of our first choice of bottle. The alternative was very nice. Next time we are in the area we will book a table for dinner. Warning, this is a cashless restaurant.

Had a great meal here last weekend, ideal for a drink and a snack, or a full meal. Good atmosphere on a Friday night, the plaice and the brie were particularly tasty dishes. Friendly staff and the best thing is that the bar staff are happy to go off menu with cocktails, and they make good ones :) Will be back!

Went here for an early Friday supper and it was lovely. The food was very good, small plates that cost usual small plate prices (between about £6.50 - £9.50). The scallops were wonderful, although would have expected three rather than two. And the salads and bread was very nice too (some great candied nuts in one of the salads). Halloumi sticks with ragu were also really good. Only slight disappointment was the celeriac salad that lacked a bit of excitement to lift the flavours. All in all a great spot in a part of London that really needs more restaurants like this!

What a lovely, charming endearing place! Visited a couple of times now. Always friendly, fab cocktail menu and amazing food choice. Can't believe I've not discovered Hello Darling sooner. I'll be back soon! Highly recommended for a cheeky evening with mates or date night!
