Delicious Meal in a very affordable price!!!😍🤤
In a busy place like Borough Market, eating in proper table is really not a thing. People are just eating everywhere. Luckily we find Brood in the very end.😁
Food is really good! 🤤🤤🤤 Paella is so yummy!!!🤤🤤🤤

Excellent, tasty food at a good price with amazing service, especially when one sees how busy they are! Had the burger which was made from excellent quality meat and crispy bun. Paella good too! Toilets. Ahhh! Need to wait at the sign until the next person comes out!

The food was absolutely delicious and the price was decent compared to other places nearby. We got sauces included, fresh food and extremely funny service. There was a woman yelling oder numbers, God bless her voice, it made us all laugh and chat about that

Love, love, love this place! We found it heading to our hotel after leaving the London Bridge tube station. The falafel is outstanding! Beers and other drinks spot on! Service was friendly and efficient! Highly recommend!

During my stay in London, I stumbled upon a hidden gem near Borough Market, I arrived around 2 pm, I was fortunate enough to secure one of the few remaining tables. The popularity of this place is evident, and it's no surprise considering the delicious food they serve.
I opted for the veggie burger, fries, and Diet Coke, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The entire meal came at just under £15, which I found to be good value given the size of the meal.
The veggie burger was so good, a veggie patty, grilled halloumi, lettuce and tomato, The skin on fries were the perfect side dish. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and left the place feeling completely satisfied and stuffed.
The atmosphere of the place was great, intimate enough to sit and enjoy the food with the hustle and bustle of passers by.
The staff were attentive, I noticed that they were constantly clearing tables, ensuring that the dining area remained clean.
I will definitely visit again if I’m the area.

The chicken burger was ok. I was expecting chicken breast fillets in the burger but it was something else.

Highly recommended. Paella was really nice and not that salty like original Spanish one. Box was definitely the best choice. Marinated lamb was really delicious. We visited here twice to eat those delicious food again.

Nice place just to sit down in the busy market. We both had the bratwurst, wife had hers without toasted bun or onions. Very tasty. Woman serving told us the naked bratwurst was the same price, which we expected, but message delivered in very perfunctory manner.

If I could give service 7/5 I would. Food fell from counter in busy street - owner immediately requested another be made to give to us free of charge. Offered a tip to cover replaced food which owner generously declined & said I should spend on my partner instead. Delicious burgers and fries - big portions for the price too.

This is probably a secret gem for Spanish food lovers along/near Borough Market (it’s towards the back and cramped in a very tight alley.

I really loved the Chorizo and Seafood Paella and I have tried it twice. You can also get pitchers of Sangria and other delicious dishes.

Highly recommended for the Chorizo and Seafood Paella! Honestly so good!

The person preparing the food was very rude impolite and he used cuss words, only because we wanted to get informed about the ingredients in the food since we have allergies. This place is not professional at all and it didn’t stop there. The same person used racist remarks.

Very Rude and very not professional. The chief called me a F****n idiot just because I asked if the salsa is hot. Avoid this place at all costs.

We ordered the seafood & chorizo paella and so did the table next to us. When the food arrived, ours only had chorizo but the neighbouring table had chorizo, prawns & calamari. We asked the waitress if both dishes were the same and she said they were. When we pointed out we were missing the seafood she gave that don't care attitude, went to tell the chef and some other staff. No apology, no follow up and no seafood!! We got cheated!!!

Apart from that the food was very greasy and not tasty at all. For GBP12 it was over priced and we didn't get any seafood. the customer service is very cold and unfriendly. Go to eat inside the market for better deals, tasty food and customer service.

Go more for the atmosphere than the food. From a melbournian's pov it's quite cheap, quality Spanish food. Melbourne Spanish food is such a rip.

Avoid this dreadful place at all costs.... It is a real shame to see this place deteriorate so badly. I am a Londoner and used to frequent this place often. I brought some friends there last night and was shocked at the cold, flavourless 'stuff' they were serving as paella.

It seems they have realised that many of their customers are tourists who do not know any better. In an attempt to save money, (presumably) they have scimped on all of the ingredients (most notably meat!). The staff were also incredibly rude. I was waiting in the queue for the bathroom when a waiter approached me and aggressively suggested that I let a woman go before me, she did not want to, so it was all rather strange. He then approached our table as we were eating and started making derogatory remarks about the English and our tipping culture. We quite rightly told him that 'tips have to be earned'.

I used to work in the area and was a regular, however after last night's experience, I would strongly suggest that you avoid this horrendous, rip-off joint with its appalling service, and cold, falvourless and overpriced food.

That is not what I call pael.... Very disappointed about the paella. It was flavourless and had wrong type of rice and poor quality ingredients.

Cafe Brood is so so tasty boiiii. The haloumi and chorizo sandwich made me go from 6 to midnight pretty quickly. The chef is raj but funny. Everyone should eat here all the time. The better half of Landy likes the food so much she wants them to cater for our wedding in 2015.- Landy out.

Excellent paella!!

First, we'd go to Cafe Brood for paella. Borough Market can feel like a labyrinth of food stalls so as to not confuse you, it's the one in Dragon Court next to Southwark Cathedral (not the one in Middle Road which serves all sorts of curry alongside). The golden rice glistens in a giant skillet, cooked in delicious stock and heavily peppered with fresh seafood and chicken pieces. They serve it with some dressed onions and peppers to add a bit of crunch and aroma. The standard paella (£5.90) is already substantial as is but you can also add crevette prawns (£9.95) or chorizo (£7.50) if you're feeling peckish.

Went back to borough market, yes again!!! I have been passing there every day on my way to work, it’s a shock to see it completely empty during the week. This time I tried the Spanish food in Cafe Brood. They always have huge paella, sausages, but what to

After seeing Money at Shunt (post coming soon), Esmerelda and I wanted a chilled out, cheapie dinner and at around 9pm we stumbled upon Cafe Brood at the bottom of Borough Market, next to Southwark Cathedral. There was some impromptu French party going on

Cafe Brood has long been a staple of my perfect Saturday morning. A visit to Borough Market, with the walk around the stalls punctuated by elaborate role-playing with their staff. "I'm hosting a dinner party tonight and need the perfect platter of meats with which to start the evening." They never believe me - why would they? - but the lie does something to ease my guilt as I gorge myself on wild boar sausages and black chorizo. Once I've nabbed as much meat and soft cheese as humanly possible, a visit to Brood is a necessity. Two huge pans of piled food sit boastfully outside - one filled with a purple-red sausage stew, the other a mountain of yellow rice, chorizo and seafood. A hugely satisfying paella if ever there was one.

Ask the staff nicely, and they'll dish you out a reasonably sized box of the both of them, mixed together. Eat a bite of the stew first, then one of the paella. Then go crazy, and mix them into a heady orange bundle of meat and prawns. If you fancy something iighter, the hotdogs are a steal coming in under £4 and consisting of a proper sausage. No overly processed frankfurters here.

After the meal, I always opt to walk it off. I recommend it to you, too. The South Bank serves as one of the best non-edible desserts the world has to offer. Cut back into the market, past the Golden Hinde and along to the BFI. That's my perfect Saturday morning. No reason it can't be yours too.
