Good Sunday lunch with lots of sides. The roast beef could have been a bit pinker, but the roast chicken was good and a very decent sized helping. We were too full for dessert. Staff were attentive and helpful, I'll go back again. Update: April 2022 I called to book a Sunday Roast and was told they are no longer doing them. Sad news as they were delicious and reasonably priced.

Very cute place with Korean Fried Chicken. We were looking for Sunday roast and was told that they haven’t done it for the last 8 months!! The waiter was the sweetest in redirecting us to another restaurant. Thank you for the amazing customer service 😊

The Beast of Brixton delivers, I’m not just talking Deliveroo as I actually collected. Amazing ingredients, beautifully prepared, lovely sidedishes and their gravy is to die for. We’ll definitely be going again.

One of the best Sunday roasts I have had in a long time! To begin, we were served a lovely butternut squash soup, compliments of the kitchen, before I then indulged on 'the 'Beast with two backs' roast, whereby you can choose two meats on one plate (pictured)... and it certainly did not disappoint. Everything was portioned perfectly and the option of extra gravy went down a treat. My partner went for the more conventional beef roast which again, was really superb. The venue has a great music selection and it is warm, cosy and rather charming. The service was very good with polite and welcoming staff. The beverage list, albeit rather small, was all you need when feasting on a roast. We couldn't have asked for more... literally, as we were stuffed leaving the place! All for great value too! Would certainly recommend, and we will be back. 'Sunday Roast Season' is upon us and Beast of Brixton is where to have it!

It's a pokey, quirky little bar squeezed on the first and second floor of the building up some wooden stairs which gives it an intimate and unusual atmosphere for London. We've been wanting to go for a while but it isn't always open. It's very loud inside so best if you're looking for a rowdy drink with mates rather than a chat. Generally, the patrons were student types. Y'know, the kind of guys who think BO is an alternative to a personality and girls who think it's cute and interesting to stand outside with bare feet. The drinks were reasonably priced (for London) and the Brixton draft beer was great. I wasn't too impressed with the attitude of one member of bar staff who was a bit rude when I asked him to top up my pint which was a little low. He was passive aggressive and sarcastic which was unnecessary and a bit odd. The other staff may be lovely, but I didn't have the chance to find out.

Great place for Sunday lunch. I had The Bird. Recommend that you make a reservation beforehand so you don't end up disappointed. The service was great, the staff equally so. Cozy place, very much a hidden gem that should be visited!

Good roast and wine (we had the Malbec). Interesting mix of vegetable choices, cocktails also pretty good! Roast is between £15 - £23. Not the best vibe however, and felt a bit bare bones. I'd recommend requesting a table when booking as we were put in a corner on stools even though no-one else was there and it was pretty cold even though we all had jumpers. There's also no clear sign to go upstairs for the roast and look as though you're in a coffee shop. The staff are not helpful and a bit patronising when you ask where to go! Service could have been more welcoming.
