Stepped in here for a quick coffee before heading for a seminar. Paul's makes coffee that's perfect to my taste - strong, good amount of milk, and not too bitter or too heavily roasted. Maybe I should stick to French instead of Italian coffees?

What I like about Pauls in general is that their coffee shops are always clean, tables are well spaced apart (so you aren't unwittingly eavesdropping on others conversations), they have outdoor seating. This outlet ticked all those boxes too.

Friendly staff who immediately offered to heat my ham and cheese croissant when I ordered it (others who shan't be named, act like you are asking for the moon if you want your croissant /sandwich warmed/toasted).

They have washrooms on the premises and are ok with people lingering around while working on their laptops.

I'd go here any day if they were closer to where I live.

Oh and they do lovely picnic hampers too. I remember ordering one last summer, think we'll do a repeat one of these days, now that it's turned sunny.

Quick bite. Great range of sandwiches, pastries and coffee is good. Cheese croissants, veggie sandwiches. They have outdoor seating and it's very central. Service is also good.

Paul is a French patisserie that offers a wide range of pastries, sandwiches, quiches and salads. One can either eat in or take away.

The vibe is very relaxed; they play French music in the background adding to the authenticity of the place. THe furniture is very elegant making it a fancier cafe than Pret for example. Their pastries are typically french, fresh and beautifully made.

They also sell homemade bread which I haven’t tried yet but it looks very good. So if you are a fan of baguette and haven’t found a good place in London yet, Paul might be your next stop!

Paul is always a good bet for a delicious lunch and a tasty bakery treat! The staff here were lovely, and despite it being around lunchtime it was easy to find a table to eat in. The chicken salad was really tasty, and a pleasant change from the usual stuff elsewhere - it included walnuts, apple, cheese, good range of salad leaves, grated carrot, and a delicious oil dressing. Can’t go to Paul without buying a slice of Frasier cake though, which never disappoints!

A convenient location to have tea and coffee with something quick to eat. The service here has always been friendly and efficient for me so no complaints there. It's spacious so we have always managed to find a table for 2. I really enjoy their chai latte and sandwiches. I've had a better almond croissant elsewhere compared to the one at PAUL, so I would go for the plain croissant next time.

Visited on the day of the transport strike so not too busy. Has a reasonably sized interior and was air conditioned well. There were enough staff and the 'lab coat' ' manager seemed to be on shift. The interior looked clean and well organised with a full range on display. The only thing of note was that my party sat outside. We had to ask for the table we used to be cleaned and noticed that the outside tables were slow to be cleared.

Beautiful patisserie & taste delicious. I took a detour on the tube and bought a whole craquant cake yesterday. It was well worth it, gorgeous mirror glaze, perfect layers and satisfying textures. I’d post a photo but we ate it 🤣.
