A really comfy pub with great wine, good menu and squishy sofas plus the cute wine room (where we hold our brilliant creative writing workshops) and a gorgeous upstairs bar and function room. A great asset for the Republic of Tooting
Excellent food, amazing staff who all made my 30th birthday party all the more memorable. Couldn’t fault it, I have the best local
Had a delicious Sunday roast, I can say comfortably probably one of the best in Tooting at the moment. I had the pork which was juicy and meaty and the cracking was perfect. My friend had the chicken and it was so tender. Molly served us and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely going back!
Come here really regularly. Always great on the weekends. Had the bavette steak on Friday which was cooked fantastically. Molly served me and was absolutely charming. Had passion fruit martinis made by Caz, just to top it off, which were brilliant. Thoroughly recommend.
Had a delicious roast at the Traf today! I had the pork belly and it did not disappoint, definitely recommend! The crackling was cooked to perfection. Molly looked after us and she was very helpful! The atmosphere was really cosy and all around good vibes! Perfect for a Sunday afternoon!
Absolutely lovely the outside area in-front of the incredible pub building was tranquil and just such an awesome spot to have a glass of wine and Sunday roast over catch up chats with you best friend. We enjoyed the stunning winter sun! Not only is the pub beautiful inside and out the staff are friendly and attentive, the food is oh my gosh to die for ( the Angus beef roast) and I will have to bring my fiancé for a roast no doubt!
Lovely pub, the atmosphere is really nice and cosy. Great place to have some food and drinks. We were intrigued about the function rooms so, Molly kindly showed us around and gave us all the information we needed to know. We were so pleased that we decided to book!! Can’t wait to come back for our party!
Went back to have the lemon tart again - slices seem to have shrunk in size. £7 is steep for what you get

Update:
The pub is under new management and it really shows. Popped in for a dessert and ordered the lemon tart which was absolutely delicious. Service was prompt, dessert amazing. Very much impressed!

Prior review: Just order the chips.
We ordered the sharing board with lamb riblets, buttermilk chicken, shredded pork shoulder, etc. The lamb riblets were shredded - not what I was expecting, but fine, though if you’re going to shred the ribs get rid of the bones please. The chicken strips were tasteless and pale. The sausage roll looked and tasted as if it was from a few days back - was so so so dry so I didn’t actually mind the tiny portion on this so called sharing board. The bread was also stale - it wasn’t toasted but was dry enough and crunchy enough to make you think it just hit the toaster. Slaw and pork were decent.
We also ordered the apple, roasted plum, almond and watercress salad for £6.50. We got a roasted plum and rocket salad - nowhere near the £6.50 price tag. I told the waiter who then told me that he had no time to update the app (not my fault) but given they had printed menus, a simple solution would be to cross it out or simply tell people after they ordered that they don’t have the ingredients available. In telling the waiter to understand my disappointment and that it was nowhere near the £6.50 tag, I was told I’d get a refund. I’m still waiting for my refund and given I paid on the app, I doubt you were actually going to give it to me.
Overall poor experience. I do live two minutes away should you wish to give me my refund.
We just walked by and discovered the Trafalgar Arms. It is a lovely pub, we really enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere was great and the staff are really caring, especially Molly who took the time to show us around the pub for potential future bookings. We also had food, the burger was delicious. My friend had the steak and it was cooked to perfection.
We definitely recommend this pub, by far one of the best ones in Tooting!
I had the Gloucester Old Spot pork Ribeye and it was delicious!! The potato salad that accompanied it was so fresh and tasty. The meal in itself was very affordable, good value for money, highly recommend! My husband had the classic burger and that was also really tasty. The person who served us (I think her name is Molly) was super friendly and ready to help, we felt really welcomed 😊
My favourite pubs in Tooting! 💞
Always a friendly atmosphere and quick service.
There is a wide range of food and drink options all at very reasonable prices. A huge interior and exterior at the front of the pub .
Would also recommend also joining the Sunday pub quiz, one of the best ones out of all the pub quizzes in toots.
Service with a smile as always from Conrad!
Went to watch the rugby yesterday and the atmosphere was brilliant!! It was super busy but the staff were really smiley and ready to help even when they seemed under pressure. Molly looked after us all night and she was amazing! The vibe inside was really cosy and they had fires on. Definitely recommend this pub for watching sports.
What a brilliant pub!!!
The pub itself is massive, with lots of space inside and out.
The decor is beautiful - the outdoor area is lovely-looks so beautiful lit up at night.
We came for a friends birthday drinks - the staff upgraded our table to the private ‘wine room’ which had its own sound system and little outdoor terrace. That was a lovely touch and made our evening even more special.
There was a great selection of beers and wines. The food we ordered was made to a really high standard - the blue cheese rarebit was an utter delight. I’d highly recommended this place - the team are lovely and go the extra mile to make sure you’re having a great time.
Omg. Amazing place. Can’t believe I’m in tooting. Staff are amazing, polite and have a great sense of humour.
Great pub for roasts!
I had a lovely roast belly pork with lots of crackling and my friend had the chicken roast and it was delicious!! The portions were very generous. The pub atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed our Sunday afternoon. The staff were also super friendly which makes a big difference! Would 100% recommend and we will be going again 😊
I had a delicious Sunday Roast, I had the beef and it was so tender and cooked perfectly!! The roast potatoes were so good and crispy, I even asked chef Gergely if I could have a couple more and he happily gave me some. Had a delicious cocktail (expresso martini) made by Molly and she served us throughout the day, really smiley and welcoming. 100% coming back!!
I often have dinner and drinks with friends at the Trafalgar (Tooting Broadway).
The Trafalgar has good inside and outdoor seating and is conveniently close to where I work. The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive, plus there is a good choice of drinks, food and desserts, which are reasonably priced.
I usually have fish and chips on selective Fridays, but opted to try the delicious seasoned sausages (you get three!), mash and gravy this time round…Greedily scoffed the lot with no complaints! 😏
The food was nicely presented in the dish it was served. However, it’s a shame I didn’t taken any pictures, having started eating as soon as my food arrived and was placed in front of me!

The Trafalgar Arms is my favourite local pub, and it is such a beautiful, cosy place to relax and enjoy delicious food and a drink. My two year old loves it there too! They are so kind and welcoming to him, and he's on first name basis with the staff.
Last weekend we hosted his second birthday party in the private rooms above the pub, and it was the perfect space for a kids party! So much room, in a very stylish location, with your own bar for people to order drinks at.
The staff are amazing, and Kaz the manager has made this pub into a brilliant place, you want to return to again and again.
Thank you team for hosting Hudson's party and being so flexible with it all, you're the best!!
We hosted our wedding celebration party here and it was such a fantastic space. We hired out the first floor which comes with its own private bar and toilets, cute seating area and a space that can be used for dining/ dancefloor. We used it as a dancefloor and it was perfect. Mark was our dedicated barman and he was incredible, the bar was very busy throughout the night and he delivered service with a smile the whole time. We also ordered their party food platters which were delicious. Caz was great at helping us on the night for anything extra we needed. The venue itself was really gorgeous and perfect for a party. Thanks to the whole team!
We booked out the wine room to watch the rugby world cup final. Thanks to the team for being so accommodating. It is a great venue with a great team 👍
