The best chocolate brownie I've ever eaten, vegan or otherwise! Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent coffee and decent food, good enough to allow you to forget its all vegan if you're not that way inclined.  Super nice guys as well.  What more could you want from a local coffee shop?  Perhaps slightly longer opening hours?  A few tables, nice food, their own beans make it one of my favourite cafes in NW London.  Worth adding to anybody's list.  And they sponsor the local kids football team.

This was such a lovely find! Great coffee at a reasonable price in a chilled out atmosphere. What more could you need before work? The food options sounded delicious and I'm desperate to pop back for something more exciting than toast and jam (although it was really tasty!).

Definitely recommend The Fields Beneath over any coffee chain.

Lovely vegan cafe under the bridge, perfect for trolls and vegans alike. The staff were all lovely and recommended to us their sweet & savory sandwiches. They were both pretty great but we particularly enjoyed their chimichurri bagel sandwich. Great latte and smoothie as well. They also sell many items such as their own branded tote bags & tea towels, books, and novelty maps of London. Generous selection of wine and snacks on sale as well! 🧌

This was my second visit. I live outside of London but if this place was closer it would be my favourite hangout! Delicious coffee, sandwiches and pastries and lovely, friendly servers. I had a cappuccino and a smoky mushroom and celeriac remoulade sourdough baguette - so good!

I love this place so much!! The vibe is great, the service super nice. All the staff there are great. The coffee is amazing, they have a lot of different oat milks to choose from. Very nice pastries too!

Really great cafe right next to Kentish Town West station. Full coffee menu including cold brew on hot days. I was tipped of by a friend they were serving ice cream sandwiches on the day I went. We got a salted caramel, sesame, and chocolate ice cream sandwich and it was absolutely phenomenal. Definitely recommend picking one of those up on a hot day. We didn’t have any of their usual offering of pastries and sandwiches but it all looked pretty good. Definitely would come back again. No toilet here but there is one at Camden Town Brewery next door.

The cafe is small and has a nice vibe. The drawback is that it is directly next to a metro station so outside is busy and noisy. I had a vegan pulled mushroom baguette which was good, but needed more spice. My oatmilk latte was EXCELLENT! The staff was very friendly and pleasant.

The cosiest cafe ever seen in London! - best interior design - friendliest stuff - amazing values: only vegetarian/ vegan food AND never charge more money for oat milk Absolutely in love with it ❤️

Absolutely first rate with a great staff. My son and I ate some delicious sandwiches and wraps and then had a slice of tasty banana bread. I had a delicious decaf latte and will definitely stop by again, especially if we go to soft play at Talacre Community Centre. The staff also seems very supportive of breastfeeding there!

I live locally and pop by this gem of a cafe frequently; it is just perfect. Tucked away under the big arch by Kentish Town West station, it’s small and cosy, with tasteful yet unpretentious decor: tiled tables shielded from the rain outside and the inside brimming with plants and shelves lined with a variety of natural wines. The food is consistently lovely: the croissants are buttery and flaky (make sure to get them toasted!) and the wraps are always packed with flavour. The coffee is simply the best in London. The team that work here are so friendly and patient (even when multiple people come in and shout at them about there being no dairy). They are quietly but proudly vegan and it is such a pleasure to support independent cafes like this one! Thank you 💚

Top tier cafe in Kentish Town/Camden area. Their pain au chocolats are our absolute favourite. They are fully plant based and my partner and I could not believe it! The coffee is great too and the staff are always very kind. Highly recommend if you are in the area (and if you are not, I’d recommend for you to take a trip and go!).

The London vegan scene is buzzing with new vegan innovations. But then why is it so hard to find a vegan cafe in London that sells vegan croissants regularly ? Because, there is none, except, THE FIELDS BENEATH. And this one does not show up on google search. A fully vegan authentic bakery still does not show up on google. Because the website's branding of the bakery and product is not crystal clear. The website does not tell humans what this place is actually, and well then how can poor google figure that out! Well I figured it out after a lot of digging, and because I was there also a couple of years back too. It is a small place in a Kentish town neighbourhood, and it has the perfect atmosphere. The croissants (plain, almond, and chocolate) were fresh and delicious. Yes please! Their croissants are rightfully legendary and delicious, stuffed and filled to the perfection. Along with croissants, I had hot soothing golden milk, made from their own paste, a very simple and exquisite drink. I can say again that golden milk is exquisite. The staff was very nice and friendly. Service was quick and the barista was buzzing along with a great attitude. Overall, great vibes and ambience. No worries of cross-contamination or hidden ingredients. A must visit! I highly recommend anyone to visit, but for vegans this is paradise!
