How to pump yourself up for your upcoming daily challenges than to step into this pocket establishment and fortify your spine with a straight up ristretto or perhaps a tight cappuccino served according to their expert baristas assessing your need.

I love the smooth coffees made here. I ventured here about 18 months ago when I first started working around the corner. I needed to get my coffee fix 'Aussie style'. The first time I walked through this funky cafe and noticed the Cherry Ripes along the counter, I felt right at home!
I love the fact that I can have my coffee and a piece of Lamington (when I'm feeling homesick) at the same time.
I usually utter the word 'delicious' after my first sip! I have yet to have a bad coffee here, a great place for a smooth coffee and a delicious sweet treat. It reminds me of a cafe you would walk into down in Brunswick St. We are spoilt for choice of the various cafes in this area we can have, but I have to say this cafe is my favourite, by far. Love, love this place thank you for bringing a piece of Oz coffee right in the heart of London. 😊

A short walk at London Bridge, located in the small street near the underground station, it was always a good feeling to find a nice hidden place by coincidence. The people welcome us warmly, i don't mind to wait the long queue for having their good coffee, i ordered flat white, it was amazing! I walked down the stairs, it seems like they develop the taste of their beans downstair near the diy toilet. I highly recommend this place!

Living in Melbourne means good coffee has a new definition hence a 4/5. By local standards I think they are easily a 5/5. Great location near the Liverpool underground station. Baristas from Oz so they obviously know a thing or two about coffee. Now my regular goto place.

Great little coffee shop with very nice food. It is slightly overpriced, but this is a very arguable point.
The atmosphere is great and is a very nice break from the race that is The City.

They have a good flat white. I cannot emphasise how important this is seeing as most coffee shops cannot get this right.

A loyalty card will get you coming back for more as you'll get a free coffee for every 4 you buy.
There goes my salary...

They make some seriously good coffee. I rarely get a buzz from caffeine but their delicious flat white really got me. There is little more pretentious than walking towards Shoreditch raving about the small and expensive cup of liquid in your hand, but at least neither of us were wearing a pair of skinny brightly coloured jeans. 3 Replies This entry was posted in Food and Drink and tagged coffee , flat white , housing , life , london , poetry , shoreditch , t.s.eliot , travel on May 14, 2012 by londonisforliving.com . The queue may be a test for the impatient ones, there is an everlasting crowd from offices around and people trying to manage meetings in communal tables.  The selection of coffee and the consistent taste quality will probably make you come again.   The baristas are quite friendly and not just following "here for customer satisfaction" cliches, they give you quite good suggestion with what to eat, drink or the seating.

Accommodating around 40 seated guests (and crowds of takeaway customers), the Bank cafe is one of Taylor Street Baristas’s largest and most popular venues. Fun fact: Taylor Street’s coffee shops recycle their loyalty cards. If you hand in a shiny intact one, and get a crumpled paper in return, don’t doubt your sanity – it’s all perfectly normal. By the way, those loyalty cards really are the best ones ever. If you know another place that offers free coffee after only four purchases, make yourself known, as I could use the information!

If you stop by in the early morning, don’t let the queue put you off: most customers visit for a quick coffee on the go, and you’ll find plenty of seating in the back. The room behind the bar is furnished with hand-crafted, custom made individual and communal tables, combining efficiency with comfort and tastefulness  – and it’s distant enough from the counter to ensure your visit is a relaxed one (or a productive one, if you’re on duty). Prepare to step into the world of suits and expensive-looking smart casual clothing, and don’t be surprised if your tablemates rehearse their morning meeting slides while having breakfast. Welcome to Bank, baby.

Once you’re settled at your table, head back to the counter, and be dazzled by the sheer amount of sweet and savoury treats on display. As far as price and portion size go, the morning pastries offer the best value, but the selection of cakes is also a hard one to resist. In short, you can never go wrong with Taylor Street Baristas’s snacks – unless you leave empty-handed, with nothing but a takeaway drink to sip on your way to work.

What makes the food so good, and a morning visit worth the early rise, is that all bakes are fresh and handmade; the oat and blueberry muffin I got was so delightfully warm, it could have just come out of my own oven. Big it was, too: I could only manage a few bites before I felt my stomach shrink with pre-job-interview fear. Luckily, the staff kindly offered me a paper doggy bag, so I could save the rest for later. Nerves appeased and afternoon snack sorted: I call it a victory on all counts.

Another hidden gem very friendly staff and the option to have a large flat white is always a plus I love it the flat white is always perfect a place that never disappoints me. It's so good that I never have to add sugar to it but in case if you need it just request it whilst placing your order and the staff will add it for you.

Black Sheep is always my go-to if I need to park myself for a couple of hours during transit. Dorota at the Bank branch was so friendly. The brown cheese + jam waffle she recommended to me was truly amazing...

Terrific service from the two baristas. The service couldn’t have been more polite and professional; not to mention the coffee was delicious. Thank you to Evelina and Micha will 100% come again when I’m next in and around bank.
