Thai Lanna

It's got that very welcoming atmosphere, and a relaxing air about it. The lady that met us, was lovely, which you come to expect from a race of people well known for their friendly, happy nature. That's not to be mixed with patronising, it is to be gratefully appreciated, it is something that seems to have diminished from some chains of restaurants. Anyway I digress

We have had a couple of take aways from here but last night was our first visit. Must say we have tried a few Thai restaurants in the area and this is right up there. We wanted somewhere last minute on a Friday night and Pre booked a table for two with no problem. Atmosphere lovely and staff very helpful and pleasant. We opted for the shared starters which came out straight away, and a really good choice. After we selected the second set for two off the menu along with a bottle of wine. And this was served within 15mins, enough time two have a drink, the food was top quality and fantastic. Definitely recommend this to friends & family, be seeing you 👌👀👍

Went to Thai Lanna Restaurant yesterday (Jan 25, 19) for the first time and were pleasantly surprised to have experienced a great meal. The sharing platter was pleasant. We also had various main courses and various flavoured rices which were wonderful. The staff were friendly and gave us time to eat our meal and sit once finished. The price was reasonable, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and the taste was great; not overly spiced - well spiced. Full of flavour. Would positively recommend to anyone that has not visited Thai Lanna Restaurant to give it a try.
