Romna Gate Tandoori Restaurant

I have been coming to this restaurant for years I love the service and delicious food . My daughter enjoys the food here also and I spotted someone made remark about the colour scheme that green is not nice colour but I truly doesn't matter about the decor of place importantly is the hygiene , service , and food and friendly welcome . They truly delivery this service best of their ability the food is cooked very well and their very attentive to ones need to please . I have been to the most experience and posh Indian resturant s all over England but this is my cosy dining place and I love the privacy away from other diners the way tables are set . I love the sizzling kebabs so well done marinated delicious sauces fresh grilled tomatoes . I adore the Indian ice creams . Deserve the rating I have given for excellent over all quality .

Great experience eating out for the first time since lockdown. The booths work really well to keep tables apart and ensure social distancing. The staff were all wearing masks and gloves which was really reassuring and there was hand sanitiser as you entered and left. Well done Romna Gate, you made us feel very relaxed on our first meal out and it all felt very Covid secure and safe. Obviously the food was great as always and the lamb shashlick was particularly delicious.

Really great curry and extras, also very COVID secure!! We were really happy to see staff wearing masks, gloves and hand sanitiser being provided at the entrance. The booths which were always there also naturally separate different customers. We felt really relaxed and happy there all evening and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a great curry (especially during these strange times).

I got a takeaway from here recently. I was really impressed. The curries were delicious, hot and fresh tasting. It was marginally more expensive than other Indian deliveries I've had - but I thought the excellent quality made it totally worthwhile. I'm lchuffed to have found such a yummy local delivery option. I'm looking forward to ordering from here again.
