The Windmill - London - Photo album

We had a big table allocated for our family in the bright airy restaurant , which consisted of a high chair and pram space, which was lovely. The menu gave a good variation and the children's Sunday roast was great for my grandson. The food had big portions and was very nice. Everyone enjoyed it.
Absolutely amazing hotel, café & restaurant! Super dog friendly and made myself, my partner and my dog feel incredibly welcome and the room was impeccable. Couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed and the whole place is absolutely stunning. Special thank you to Lola who went above
Food was fabulous. Roast Dinner was better and more plentiful than when I last went there. Service was better and the Almost forgot Fish and CHIPS We're also Very tasty 😋. Great atmosphere. Weather helped as sat outside. Would definitely recommend it. Forgot to take pics of the food unfortunately.
I’m visiting London from Australia and have thoroughly enjoyed two lunches at The Windmill on Clapham Common. The venue is very well served by public transport and it took less than 20 minutes to get there from my hotel in Battersea. On both occasions we dined in the lovely beer garden to take advan
I came here for a birthday dinner and I have to say I've never come to the Windmill for food before, but I have stayed here and the food was really good. Both my mum and I had half roast chicken and they were really nice and also the portion sizing is really well done, it seems as though you get a l
I came in after work today with a special friend, and my gosh what an excellent time we had. It has really set a positive tone for the rest of the weekend! At first I was a little nervous, as I was trying to impress said 'special friend' for our first date. The bartender Joe was extremely charming,
We loved our stay here. The rooms are lovely albeit having signs of wear and tear such as painting coming off the walls. The breakfast and the pub was a delight with excellent food. Will definitely recommend
Went for dinner. Came without reservation and easily found a cosy spot for two. Ordered 2 starters (beautiful presentation and super tasty!) as well as 2 mains which were very delicious 👍🏼 👍🏼 Staff is attentive and quick service, so definitely will come back and recommend to others 🌟
Really lovely interior, roasts were huge and well cooked , seasoned well, service was friendly and quick and attentive, had to ask for condiments so would be nice to have them on the table , pork was inconsistent ,one plate had the stuffing the other didn’t , saying that it was still delicious. £25
Our family including a 2 year old went for Sunday Lunch. We all had very satisfying roasts including beef, chicken, pork and vegetarian. The service was very good and we were well looked after by Bronte.
I came for Sunday roast which was very nice. The atmosphere was very lovely, the staff were attentive especially Lisa who was our main server. We will definitely be returning soon.
I booked the Max Shack for a private party and had an excellent experience. It was easy to book, the team were communicative, and pre-ordering food and drink was really straightforward. We also had a fantastic night; the space worked really well with both outdoor and covered areas. Thanks to the Win
Celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday & the meal was superb! The service was excellent too… very attentive & gave our daughter a complimentary drink 😀
Overall a very enjoyable stay. The staff were all very friendly and professional and we loved the buzz of the bar area. The food in the restaurant was exceptional as was the service. My only slight criticism is that the room we had was looking a little tired. By this I mean the carpet and the shower
