We have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 year and I have never had a bad meal and a wonderful service, thank you
We were a group of 4 celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious and plentiful. They put candles on the cake we provided and added on a complimentary dessert.
Date: 30.06.18
Time: 12noon
The resturant just opened when we got there but very welcoming
Good service and able to alter menu to suit and advise accordingly.
Good menu selection and food arrived promptly
Decor needs uplift and painting as showing its age.
Had the following food:
Mixed Platter - First time I had prawn toast and enjoyed it and good mix of battered chicken & Prawn, Prawn toast (a substitute for us), Spring Rolls and Seaweed. All really nice and fresh.
Mixed Veg stir fry - Another nice dish and as you would expect from a good chinese
Chicken and Black bean - Arrived nice and sizzling and just as you expect and glad for that as its good and consistent.
Egg Fried Rice - Again as you expect but nice.
It is a nice place for a quick lunch and a good standard of food and service so if passing I would definitely go again.
I used to go to the one near Northwick Park and It really has the same taste.
There is no fusion or anything fancy but nice stock chinese with consistency and great service.
Not sure about the previous review. In the distant past I had visited this restaurant many times and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I went again on the bank holiday as my favourite Chinese restaurant was closed. I can only report the food, service, ambience was excellent. Our two friends who joined us will be new customers here. I will return shortly. Very well priced wine list and received complimentary after dinner drinks.
The first thing you notice is how busy the restaurant always is. The staff are all super friendly and after a few visits they remember who you are and always make an effort to be polite. The menu is what you would expect from a typical Chinese restaurant although they offer some great tofu dishes and the mock duck is the best I have tasted from any chinese place I have visited. Service is good and unless they are really really busy, the food is served pretty quick. On most occasions they give you some banana fritters and ice cream on the house which is always a nice touch. If you are looking for a fine dining experience and food that doesn't contain MSG than this isn't for you, but for a local place it's pretty good.
One of the best Chinese restaurants around!
My family and I have been frequently visiting this restaurant for over 24 years . Being vegetarians, this one of the only restaurants who are able to accommodate a 3 course meal, with amazing service upon each and every visit!
The food has flavour, variety and accompanied with all of the necessary satay/plum sources and salts/seasonings. They are very flexible in exchanging dishes from the set menus to another dish from the menu, if theres an odd dish which you doesnt suit your palate; it is even possible to opt for just the starter and main, or second and final course- to suits your appetite!
We have introduced many of our friends to this place, meat eaters and non, and everyone has voted in favour and have planned subsequent visits. We travel in from Surrey to dine here; looking forward to the next meal already!
Delicious food, particularly starters and dessert. The set menu food was great and very generous. We stayed all evening on a Sunday and the service was great, very friendly, swift, attentive and not rushed. We were the last group remaining at 11 and while I have been hurried out of other local restaurants before this time, at Man Chui we were brought complimentary dessert and liqueur!
This restaurant was recommended and it has lived up to the mark.
The food was absolutely wonderful. We went as a group and had a variety of dishes, all were fresh, tasty and well prepared. The food came on time and Robert and the staff were on hand at all times.Very pleasant atmosphere. Being a fussy eater I honestly can't fault. Looking forward to my next visit.

We have been going to Man Chui III since 2006, at least once a month on average. In all these years we have NEVER had a bad meal there. The food, the staff, the service, the overall quality have been consistently excellent. It is highly recommended to anyone who appreciates good, honest Chinese cuisine!
What can I say about this food. We are a family of vegetarians and the food that we have is delicious, the vegetarian spicy platter is just divine and as for the shredded baby corn with chilli absolutely fantastic. All I can say is amazing food, and always treated with polite staff,in fact we have been going to this restaurant for 25 years as a couple and now with a grown up family, best Chinese ever.
Had my second visit last night, love this restaurant and their staff even more! They were so thoughtful and kind, the food was gorgeous and varied and it is very fairly priced - we had a really lovely time! I will certainly be going back soon :)
Great little Chinese restaurant. Food is light and not greasy and oily as most Chinese restaurants. Friendly staff, great value for money. Easily missed due to the tinted windows, they should put some more lights outside or something. Always go here and never dissatisfied.
Really nice place. As a veggie (I know- boo hiss 🤣) there were tons of options! (The veggie share platter was amazing). What we also enjoyed was the staff- really friendly and we had some good banter with them!
Really enjoyed lunch here on a Friday. Some nice freebies to start: nuts, prawn crackers and pickles. The hot and sour soup was good. As was the sweet and sour. Good service too. A good choice in Finchley Central.
Enjoyed their vegetarian dishes especially with the black bean sauce. My only problem with this place is that the waiters do sometimes give someone else's food to your table. When I was presented with my bill I had no idea what they had written because it was all in Chinese! But it was less than I expected so I still left a tip! I would still come here again.
Excellent restaurant, a bit curt with us at first because we hadn't booked, but OK as the evening wore on. Item C for two or more was an excellent choice and we were very full by the end. And, I mean very! Food different to what I have on Chinese visits, but that was why I enjoyed the slightly Anglesised version!
