Traditional English Restaurent. Old world charm. Charles Dickens used to be one of their early patrons. Attentive service. Good food and great service. The century old decor is maintained to give the feel but can be crowded and cornered. A must visit if you want to see a slice of old world London

Being a huge Charles Dickens fan, I have been meaning to visit for years and it didn't disappoint. Really good, non-pretentious food and drink. Wonderfully attentive staff but not overly so. All of this wrapped up in a building in which you can feel the history. A must visit, and I will be back soon
It's been quite a few years to visit again for lunch. Feels like a long history. I had a pork chop which was nice!! We're also invited to see the rooms where Charles Dickens stayed there. It's a great experience!!
This is such an historic inn. Really good welcome and informative chat about Dickens, history etc. Evening drinks visit, did not eat.
What a wonderful place, the food was wholesome, traditional and so good. The red wine we ordered was excellent.
