Excellent micropub with a range of real ales served from the cold room . Beers and ciders are mainly from Kent . Larger than it looks with a comfortable snug . 10 minutes walk via a back route from Eltham station . Food consists of artisan pork pies . Well worth a visit .

Popped in on the way (well, out of my way actually - but well worth the detour) to football and found a quiet, cosy environment - as you'd expect from a micropub). Beers kept beautifully - I enjoyed the permanently-on Pond Life and a green hopped porter. Didn't eat, but the pork pies looked inviting and the cheese ploughmans humungous. The Dorchester Room at the rear is a lovely bonus, with some interesting local artwork on the walls.. Need to sort out ways of working it into my routes to football in future!

What a brilliant hidden gem. Had a great night with a friend and can't wait to go back. Some great offerings on the ale and cider front. Even left with a take away ale ;)

First time we tried it out and loved it. Had a couple of early drinks as we were there before dinner at 18.30 but by 18.45 it was buzzing. Other half loved the beers and had a takeaway of 2 pints of Pond Life at £3 a pint and I had the English Rose wine which was lovely. Definitely will be back for a return visit. Food available too. Really lovely find.

We are regulars, excellent real ales (not that I drink it), wines and nibbles. Super friendly atmosphere, always love it when they have live music there too!

Nice little micropub close to Oxleas Woods. Doesn't look like a pub from outside, but don't be put off, the landlord is friendly and the beers very welcome after a wander in the woods 🍺

Ok, so hands up, I do like a micro pub and a locally brewed real ale! The Long Pond gets a big tick in all these areas. Great to see a community pub full of locals on a Sunday lunchtime, buzzing with chat. Good selection of beers and friendly staff

I loved this small, friendly bar. The cask beer was in stunning condition - possibly one of the best kept beers I've ever encountered.

Great small pub with local ales that rotate frequently and are reasonably priced. However, this means that sometimes it’s pot luck on weather there will be an ale you like if you don’t enjoy bitters as the other ale styles available rotate with the menu.

Great beer and customer service. You can buy and take away kegs of 5 litres. Can drink from the keg, don’t need any machine.

Will go again. Good selection of local beers and wines. From the maps on the walls, the owner seems to think Eltham is in Kent rather than London. :)

Nice little real ale pub and very welcoming. Plenty of space inside and I didn't get the feeling I was an intruder entering a closed club which seems the standard for real ale pubs at the moment. Definitely will return when I'm next in the area.

Lovely micropup Friendly relaxed atmosphere. My husband assures me that the excellent range of real ales are always in tip top condition. I enjoy the wine or gins on offer. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. If you live locally make it your local, you wont be disappointed.
