I love this restaurant, I've been coming here for years. The food is great, the portions are large, & very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly & helpful, I visit once a week, & I love it.
Awesome food! Staff is not that friendly but I prefer this place over noodle time! Try the rice with black bean sauce and green pepper. Prices are very reasonable!
The place offers Chinese cuisine. The food here is great, with enormous portions that are very appetizing. It is appropriate for a good, heart meal. The ambiance is also great, along with being spacious. They do not provide for home delivery, otherwise I would have ordered from this place everyday. I would surely recommend this place.
The food at this restaurant is decently priced for the large portions it serves. One would pay six pounds for the mail course which will leave you feeling rather full. So much so that a dessert would really not cross your mind! I truly recommend trying this place, for sure.
I, along with my family, went there and it turned out to be a pretty good choice. The atmosphere was quite good and the décor was pretty modern though the chairs weren't comfortable enough but it is the food that you go for which was delicious and reasonably priced. The menu was quite a varied one and all the dishes we tried were of very good quality. The prices were also in a reasonable range and we would be definitely going back.
To have a really supreme quality of pad thai ever, i suggest you drop in at this place. Having tasted a lot of pad thai i several places in South East Asia while travelling , you can take my word for this one. The food looked so amazing that i can not wait to get back and try all the various items on their menu. Lovely!
We went to this place for the first time without any standards of expectation and came out really satisfied. You pay a certain amount and eat as much as you like. Almost all the dishes were appealing, appetizing and delectable. But the star of our table that day was their sea bass. We did not expect that they would get the whole fish to our table and would then filleted for us. Staff was prompt and efficient too
Lovely little restaurant with a good variety of food available to suit everyone's budget. The all you can eat deal is great value for money too. The place has a very American fell, and the service is wonderful. Left feeling full and extremely happy. Will go again.
I have to appreciate the food at this place, and I really recommend it based on the delicious treats. The service here is not very friendly, and the setting screams a casual dinner, but really, the food is worth putting up with all of this. We ordered a half duck for our children, a chicken dish for us and rice to share. The food was amazing, to say the least. It was inexpensive and tasted brilliant. I would go back if I am in the area, if only for the food.
The interiors at this restaurant is pretty classic and nothing extraordinary.The menu choice is pretty varied and the quality great. We tried the buffet which was pretty good combination with good portions. You can try the sweet and sour prawns and the fried rice which is absolutely incredible. The service too is quite prompt.A good time in general.
This is a little gem. The places around this really have high prices but here everything is reasonable. The decor is pretty basic , nothing to much fancy but still it was nice. The food was amazingly awesome . I had duck and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked.

I have eaten here on several occasions. All that I have ever ordered and eaten here is fresh. The set menu in my opinion is a good bet and decent value for money. The owner of this place is a chef and does some innovative cooking. He serves the most fresh sea food here!
Based in central Greenwich, Saigon offers set meals that make it stand out from its competitors. Their bean curd is especially appetizing. A pound more expensive from Noodle time that is literally directly opposite it.
The seafood is crazy delicious and various. We had a party of 10 and all dishes come in super huge plates and it feels like never stop coming. Fixed price of £35 per head for large group.
We usually get take-away from here. I love beef ho fan with black beans sauce. Staff is very friendly and polite. They are friendly to kids. Have large space and their toilets clean. Most of their customers are also regular. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Good job guys.

The food is never disappointing. I introduce lots of friends and overseas visitors who are also hugely impressed by the chefs, the service, the relaxed happy environment. The à la carte buffet menu is an exquisite dining experience. Very good value. I wish I could eat here several times a week!
Love this place. We had the all-you-can-eat option. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. Amazing food, so fresh and flavourful. Staff are friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back!
Delicious food! Highly recommend. We were a group of 18 and they were easily able to accommodate us. We went for the eat as much as you like menu, which was incredibly reasonable at £16.50. Everything was delicious but I'd favourites were the sea bass, the prawn dishes and the dumplings. Yum!
With this menu, rather than the all you can eat buffet (trough) you choose from a menu which is served in courses. As long as you finish your dishes i.e only order a few things at a time, they'll keep serving more. This is a much better way to stop food wastage and means your meals are cooked to order.
Perfect place to have a hearty, tasty meal at the end of a long working day. The portions are massive and taste far nicer than the average chinese take-out/restaurant. The restaurant is spacious and I would recommend Saigon to anyone. Everything is nice and clean. I like this place.
Not sure about the bad reviews below but I've always enjoyed the food whenever I've been eating in our getting a takeaway.
Good had always been hot and tasty and service from the main woman and guy had always been great. And I'm fussier than most about Chinese food having worked in several takeaways before.
My husband and I didn't book a table for Valentines due to work schedule is not fixed. We walked in Saigon, served very quick, also amazed by the speed they put food on the table. We ordered Lobster+noodle, fried tofu with pork and Chinese mushroom, and Vietnamese prawn salad. when my husband tried to order one more green vegetable and some rice, the waiter reminded him that the volume of the lobster with noodle is going to be big, he though no need to order more rice even. We took his suggestion, and still couldn't finish the 3 dishes. They were all super delicious.
We just ordered tea as both were driving. I was very surprised to see the bill, for those 3 big dishes only £36!! What a bargain for Valentines.
I couldn't recommend Saigon highly for it's consistency of the food quality as well.
It's a good value-for-money place. They sizes are HUGE for the price you pay, and that's great! Don't be afraid to ask for takeaway boxes, as they are very open to it. Maybe you can share a dish when you go?

Started going to this restaurant last year. Very unassuming, but the food is excellent and VERY good value for money. They can get busy which shows how popular they are. Jaime's Italian came and went (next door) but these guys just go on and on. Obviously, they are doing it right.
Went here tonight on a one off, was busy and the food was fantastic, staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this to anyone.
The all you can eat buffet is cooked fresh to order waiter service to the table and so tasty. And amazing value for money.

We turned up mid-August 2019...to find it's CLOSED!!? ... wouldn't be surprised if Greenwich rent 'did it'.

Went to palace across the road instead, which was fairly tasty and not too bad for prices either.

Currently my favourite restaurant. Great food, Very fresh. Amazing waiting staff, very friendly and accommodating any request. Enough space for pushchair or buggy. There are big tables for eight and additional room that could hold a party.
My sister and I opted to go in here for the All You Can Eat menu, which I was expecting to be the bog standard "help-yourself-to-a-load-of-slop-in-a-canteen-style" but we were surprised to find that you order off the menu and everything is freshly cooked. Well, we were handed some prawn crackers by our extremely friendly waiter who then took our drinks orders. We ordered 3 starters and crispy duck and everything tasted great. Then we ordered some prawns, sea bass, pork and rice. I was massively impressed with the sea bass which I would have paid the cost of the all you can eat menu for that alone. Once we had finished, I was astonished that the cost of the meal, a glass of wine and a beer was £37! Simply brilliant value and I can highly recommend
I've read loads of reviews on this restaurant, going by what people said I was expecting the worst.
I couldn't find anything to base any criticism on, the place was busy, we waited a few minutes to be seated, the 5 or 6 staff on duty were competant and pleasant, they suggested they provide a selection of starters from the buffet menu for £15.50 which arrived and was (for 5 people) plentiful and hot. They provided fried duck as the second course, and when we'd finished that little lot they asked what we wanted for main course. At this point we'd probably had £15.50 x 5 worth of food already. There wasn't anything wrong with the food, freshly cooked, tasty and good value.
Going by what we saw and what we enjoyed on Friday night 26th October 2012, we can't understand where the negative comments from the other reviewers came from.
