Brilliant cardamom buns and cinnamon buns to die for.....
Great buns, nice coffee and friendly staff! Fab place for a quick pit stop :)
Recommended by my son. Enjoyed a cardamom bun and a great cup of coffee. Worth seeking out.
Härlig miljö och mycket gott
Loved the cinnamon bun!! It was very chewy, soft, rich in cinnamon flavour (of course), sweet but not too sweet for me as a sweet tooth. The first bite was amazing (while it was still very warm) and it got along well with nice latte. I have tried several bakeries with cinnamon bun but so far Fabrique's is my personal favourite.
Small bakery with light interiors and handful of seats. Coffee is good though it is a bit pricy. Good option if you are looking for a quiet place for meeting or work in busy Covent Garden neighbourhood.
I became a fan of Fabrique thanks to its much loved cinnamon buns, the thought of which never fails me to lure me to the Notting Hill cafe on those weekend mornings where only the promise of pastries for breakfast can get me out of bed. The Covent Garden branch is very close to my office, and because of this, I usually visit it at lunchtime; even so, I'm ready to bet the quality of the cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla buns is just as high there.
During the working week, when my packed lunch is soup or salad, my greatest pleasure is heading there to buy a walnut roll to go with my meal. That soft texture, and the slight sweetness of the walnuts meeting the savoury dough, really are something special. I’m usually full after eating half of it, but once I start, the only way you could ever stop me is by snatching the bread from my hands and throwing it far away (I wouldn’t recommend that, unless you’re seeking the thrill of being cursed at by a very angry Italian).
Fabrique specialise in artisan sourdough bread, mostly made with dark flours, baked in a stone oven. It’s on the pricey side, but even a small portion can go a long way: my partner and I get four servings out of a quarter of a walnut boule (£3.50), and could easily stretch them to five or six, if we were less greedy. Saying that, when it comes to Fabrique’s bread, I find it hard to be anything but greedy.
As it seems to be customary for Fabrique's cafes, the venue is a tiny rooms with a small counter. It's not as narrow as the Notting Hill branch, but it still takes skill for queueing customers not to get in each other’s way, or collide with the staff members waiting tables. Seating space feels like an afterthought, with tables so few, small and cramped, you won’t want to hang around any longer than necessary (unless you’re a Tetris master, in which case you might find some twisted pleasure in trying to fit food and drinks on your table top).
You get my point: if you need a spot for a leisurely catch-up with friends, or a couple hours of uninterrupted work, Fabrique may not be your place. Order your food to go if the weather outside is not too grim, or squeeze in, and discover what an elephant in a China shop might feel like. Don’t make this a dealbreaker, though, as the bread and pastries are a hundred per cent worth the hassle.

Very cool artisan bakery with a small but high quality range of pastries and bread. You'll never want a regular cinnamon bun again once you've had one of their pastries, the cardamom roll was so good it left me wanting another!
It's quite a small place, but a really pleasant one. I've noticed because of the bread display which really looks tempting. We ended up going inside for a sandwich and a juice. We've also tried the cinnamon roll which was pretty delicious and filling. Really pleasant place and would be back to try the coffee next time
First of all, I didnt expect that they would serve a good cappucinno, it tasted similar with the one that I had in Venice, loved it. Cinnamon bun was good also. A small pretty place to have a little snack.
It's a cute cosy place with a few tables for sitting in. Came here to try out their Cardamom buns and they were incredible. The flavours and texture were amazing even though it wasn't fresh out of the oven. Looking forward to trying them warm someday soon.
I ordered cardamom bun and it was amazing. It is very chewy and moist. The sweet cardemom goo is in between the knots of the bun. They are sticky and moist which makes the awesome texture. I love it. Its my first time to try cardamom. I was worried if I didnt like the cardamom itself but loved it. Recommended to those who never tried cardamom before. Please try!
Accidentally drop by and got recommended for their cinnamon bun on the queue. I took one back home and saved in the fridge for a late morning breakfast the second day. I had it in microwave for a min and wait it till room temperature. Rain was pouring so it’s great time for a warm steamy tea. The first bite of this cinnamon bun sent me immediately to Norway. It was so good. I’ve gotta go back and stock more. This all happens just a couple minutes ago. And now I’m just pinning this shop on my map….

Today after the British Museum tour I wanted to head to china town and I stopped by a very nice bakery where I tried Cinnamon bun. fabrique was the name of the cafe. I must say I am in love with it. I tried the elder flower Kombucha aswell. This bakery is treat to my sweet tooth.
I walked all the way to the bakery cause it was on my list of must visit places.
It's a small tiny bakery but it was worth it. I didnt find much options but I came to try it.
Be aware to go a bit early to ensure you find something cause some days they finish all their cinnamon buns so make sure to go early
Love this place! One of the only places I’m always going back to when I’m in London!
Delicious cardamom pastry and really good coffee .
Service is also really good
Thanks
Cadamon bun is good , nice cute and cosy bakery shop
I’ve been looking forward to stop by when I got a chance to visit London. I love Nordic style cinnamon buns very much, and it’s nice you can just get them in London without travelling to North European countries. I tried both cinnamon and cardamom buns, they’re lovely. Highly recommend!
Another exploration in the city of L.
I did a quick google search for bakeries and this seemed to be both independent and quite unusual, so I was naturally alluded.
I opted for the cardamom bun and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was a tad weak and small, but the cardamom bun was surprisingly really nice! It had a beautiful fragrance and there was a balance of sweetness with the spice. The bun itself was a little firm, but it was contrasting the softness and fluffy inside.
The lady serving was helpful and the establishment is adhering to social distancing, hygiene measures, which is a plus.
If you’re around the area and fancy something different, I would recommend checking these guys out! I’d like to try other items on the menu in the future. 7/10.
I think it’s a nice place there is not a lot of choices
People who like cinnamon will love it
Very tasty pastry & good coffee. Love the cardamon gooey cookie and raspberry cookie.
Best Sourdough bread I tried so far in London.
Cinnamon roll is to die for.
Lovely place to sip a cup of coffee or tea, small nice tables where you can work or study. Definitely will be back for more goodies.

Cozy atmosphere with a few tables for sitting in. There is not a lot of variety but the saffron bun was amazingly delicious. I also had a flat white which was also good.
Friendly staff
The cardamom buns are insanely good! I haven't tried anything else as the bun is my go-to when I'm in the area
Lovely little bakery to have a pit stop in a quiet corner of central London. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
