Really lovely restaurant with an enjoyable ambience, great service, and a rollercoaster of fusion flavours for the tastebuds.
We had the 10 course tasting menu for £65pp and each course was different, exciting, and flavourful!
The waiters and waitresses were friendly and easy going. There was a couple sitting next to us and the girlfriend said she was cold and the waiter got out a little portable heater for her which I thought was very nice of them.
Came here as a surprise birthday treat and they put a candle is the dessert for me ☺️
Overall, a wonderful dining experience! Would recommend!

Almost a perfect dining experience. We tried the 10 course menu and enjoyed most of the dishes provided. Some creative and interesting flavours with a lot of fusion influence. Prawns were the highlight and were very fresh and the quality of produce was also very high. Unfortunately the dining experience became unbearably long as the restaurant for busier with service becoming slower and slower and all in all, a 10 course menu became over a 3 hour dinner. The dessert was also a let down as well which was sad not to have a last dish but definitely worth coming to try and perfect for couples or celebrations with groups of friends.

Fantastic tasting menu - great mix of seafood blending Japanese & Italian concepts and flavours. Service was top notch.

We took the 10 course kaiseki menu (with 1 vegetarian option and 1 standard menu) and everything was absolutely delicious!
Would definitely recommend to food lovers!
Few things that I noted though:
- The staff seemed quite stressed and we could feel it
- Some dishes were to be shared in the same plate, which was ok for us, but seemed a bit weird to me.

Angelina is a lovely, small restaurant with a perfect atmosphere. We went there for our anniversary, and the food surpassed our expectations. Every dish was a delightful blend of Japanese and Italian flavors, unique and delicious. We highly recommend it!

The presentation of each dish was a visual delight, but it was the dessert and its wine pairing that left an enduring impression.

We had a 10-course tasting menu at the Chef’s table. One of us opted for the Vegetarian.
The food was overall great and we enjoyed the variety of dishes! They were full of surprising flavors. We’ve had worse food at Michelin-starred restaurants. However, we can confirm that some dishes were not as memorable as others.
The service was great and attentive, despite some minor spilling (not on us thankfully).
The only three minor negative points to mention:
1. the chairs at the chef’s table are not particularly comfortable for 2 hours
2. we had a later dinner slot (8.30), so towards the end of our dinner the whole restaurant went into cleaning & tidying mode which somewhat disrupted our (and the other few remaining guests’) experience
3. The Vegetarian menu was not printed so had to rely on description of the waiter
Overall great value for money though and would definitely go again!

Delicious food, beautifully presented! I wish we had some of the extra courses but we didn't realise until later they existed. The wine pairing was very interesting, featuring both classic and more unusual wines.
The outside seating is lovely, surrounded by some hedges for privacy from the street, though there is some traffic noise, so do book inside if that sort of thing bothers you.
Overall, I really recommend: it's such a little gem of a beautiful tasting menu at a reasonable price.

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! We had the 10 course tasting menu and it was fabulous. The wine pairing was absolutely perfect with the food, staff were super attentive and the food was out of this world. Would recommend for a special occasion

This can be one of the best dining experiences in London, if not the best 👌🏻
We went to Angelina to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Although I am Japanese and we love Japanese food so much, I wanted a bit of a twist (as we recently visited Japan) and I saw Angelina featured multiple times with keywords like “best seafood restaurant in London”. So I gave it a go.
Well, it was a wise choice. We ordered 10 courses for £65 a person and enjoyed all the dishes. The creativity of the dishes is at another level. This is what you should have in London - an amazing fusion of the two cuisines and the dishes had the features of both cuisines equally. I can confirm that such fusion is not something you can find in Japan.
They have a huge selection of alcohol, especially Italian wine and I would say they are reasonably priced. You can also order some Japanese alcohol or fusion cocktails.
The staff were nice and engaging. Also, the decor of the shop is modern and neat. Now I will have to come back for 4 courses 😊
