Had late lunch here last week. Was a-maz-ing! All 3 of us agreed that the mushroom & ale pie, chicken NY and Muchos Nachos Grande were delicious. The mocktails were tasty (even though my sister-in-law thought it needed "just a touch of gin/vodka", but she wasn't the one driving!). And the desserts .
I don't understand why this place has such a low rating. The food is really good, beers and drinks as well. Very quick and helpful service and the mood inside is irreplaceble. I srongly recommend giving The Fox a chance.
Was very empty but still waited ages for food. The main course was nice but ice-cream was not very nice and was given it in an ice cream tub that was not very appealing. Definately would not order afters again and why it took so long no idea.
They have a few spaces for parking and also a bay for the disabled. The restaurant/pub was quite busy but staff tried their best to attend to everyone and were polite. The food in general was wonderful but I wouldn't be having the steak again any time soon. They were cooked properly just as ordered
I have had a great night here back in august celebrating my 50 th birthday!!! I could not have asked for a more perfect night!! Staff were attentive friendly and helpful. It was a busy night, but we were served our drinks with no hesitation. It’s definitely up there with one of my best nights out!!
We had initially booked and attended another restaurant tonight to be told they had no food or long waits for what they did have.

Lovely food, steak rare was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere, good value for money and the ladies who work there are all helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back again.
The staff are really friendly and always up to have a laugh and joke with the customers. The service is very quick. I’m sorry I can’t comment on the food as it’s been a while since I last ate in there and the food wasn’t very nice. But as I said the staff are fantastic!!
