The food is probably the best Japanese around , I have eaten at nobu , benihana and the likes this place is on par and costs pennies
I can't find a single fault in the food , the service is superb !
Only one word describes this restaurant : 素晴しい (subarashii !)

As the Just Eat website was down this evening, I decided to Google my nearest Sushi place and stumbled across Sakura. The lady who runs this place is friendly and absolutely wonderful! She treated me and my son to delicious miso soup while we waited for her to freshly prepare our order.
The food from Sakura is absolutely, melt in your mouth, gorgeous!! The only downsides I can think of are that I didn't buy more and that it is closed tomorrow so I can't go back until Tuesday!!
Beautiful food, was very pleased. Very friendly and polite staff, would definitely recommend to anyone contemplating going. Chicken katsu was amazing and so was the salmon lover sushi box...The steamed bread burgers (can't remember name) were the best thing of the night...delish!!

Very nice they gave my son and me free Miso soup and let me have a top up very friendly staff I think it's the best one I've tried as I use others a lot but will be sticking to this one. Very fresh sushi good quality. Very good portions. My son just went there today and the nice Lady said we're is your mum he told her I am I'll as I have Flu. She gave him a massive soup for me free of charge. How nice.
Excellent gyoza. Top quality sushi. Hirata spicy chicken buns sensational. Teriyaki salmon a hit. Lovely couple that run the place. Given a free miso whilst waiting. Thoroughly recommend them. We've been twice and if you haven't ordered get yourselves down there.

It's been a favourite since it opened- particularly recommend the breakfast steamed buns, chicken teriyaki and seaweed salad. Always fresh and good.
Staff are super friendly. Food was delicious. We were given extra dishes to try. So pleased to have found a yummy Japanese so close to us.

Amazing Japanese Dishes, so many choices for both veg and non veg. I've only had the veg dishes and I can say that each one was so tasty and would highly recommend their Bai buns, gayozas, sushi...list is endless. Definitely worth a try if you haven't and looking for quality food. You get free snacks while you wait for your collection. Great customer service...amazing chefs.
Best Sushi/Japanese in the area by a million miles and I've tried the main 3 on a number of occasions. This place tastes the best but is also somehow the cheapest. Go figure. On certain days you have to wait an hour to get your food, so I recommend ordering ahead of time on the phone or online. There are queues outside on busy days for a reason. Highly recommended.
Honestly our absolute favourite takeaway! It needs 10 stars. The Chicken Karrage buns are too good. The staff are so lovely and friendly. We are so sad to move away from the area for a while, and will definitely be stopping by whenever we pass south Woodford.

Best sushi and buns in London! Super authentic Japanese food, great price point and the quality is excellent every time (the Spicy Chicken Karaage buns are a must-have!). They also have great vegetarian options like the Veggie Katsu curry. The service is excellent and they are always very welcoming. They often will have the food ready ahead of the collection time on a week day and will call to let you know you can pick it up. On weekends it can sometimes get a little busy so there are longer waiting times, but it's always worth it! Would highly recommend if you are in the Essex area.
What a wonderful little gem. From the amazing, swift service, to the friendly knowledgeable owners to the fresh and delicious sushi.
We were given a quick overview of the different types of sushi and settled for ordering katsu prawn buns and a sushi lovers mixed box for takeaway. Whilst we waited, we were handed tasty, spicy miso soup and a sample of delicious chicken as we watched our sushi box being freshly prepared.
Delightful conversations whilst we waited and extra advice on how to keep the food fresh added to the extremely pleasant experience.
With almost every bite came satisfying sounds as we devoured the sushi and buns and vowed to return soon to sample the rest of the diverse menu!
I had the best experience with Sakura they made my sushi fresh and they gave me some tasty miso soup while I was waiting. The sushi itself was amazing I was very pleased and will be sure to go back!!
Update - I have returned to Sakura many times in the last year and they have still managed to provide me with such a high level of service! I absolutely loveee their sushi and recently ordered their vegan appetisers which were soooo YUM!

Fantastic food. I often go there despite the fact that I live more than 8 miles from this place.
Website to make the order could be improved but you get used to it eventually and it does the job.
