Finding this place is a little difficult, but think of it as an adventure. It definitely adds to the hidden gem vibe this place gives off. The staff and atmosphere are both top notch, no notes.
The food was great but for one small thing. The chashu was the one thing that needed some work. It was more like plain boiled pork belly and didn't seem to have the flavors of a marinade or the texture from braising which you typically expect. Overall the food was in no way bad and I would 100% eat there again. If you like ramen, I promise you won't regret eating here.
Nice ramen joint tucked away in an industrial estate. Friendly efficient staff. I had the collab special of seafood boil with chicken broth, which was tasty. A bit pricey but worth it.
Never dissapoints, reliable a firm favourite. Sometime I don't even have ramen just sides and starters R.I.P to Pig Bones and Bones Daddies cider you will never be forgotten (IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW). Service always friendly and hospitable. Star of the show today was the finger licking Korean Fried Chicken. Tried the bone daddies IPA which was refreshing and tasty. Eat the food before I thought to take pictures, criminal I know.
Great place, definitely worth a visit. They offer a nice selection of ramen at reasonable prices. We tried the vegan miso ramen and tonkotsu ramen, and both were delicious!
It might be some problems in communication with staff, but the owner of this place really cares about customers' experience and is ready to discuss any misunderstanding and problems. So don't hesitate to ask the staff if you're waiting too long for your meal, or if there's something bothering you - I'm sure the problem will be solved.
Ramens here are really good, it's not an irony. Please, try it.
It was difficult to find the restaurant, as the location on Google Maps was inaccurate (entrance is at Old Jamaica Rd).
The restaurant was completely empty on Sunday at lunch time, which was surprising.
The interior of the restaurant was cozy.
The ramen was delicious, but far from the best I’ve had. Food was ready very quickly and the staff were friendly.
Is this the best ramen place in London? It is in the backyard of an industry like place (you can see all the towels and sheets from hotels waiting to be washed), interesting location. The soup was very thick and fetty with flavor. Could be a bit more soup and hotter though. They also have craft beer made for Ramen, that’s a very Nordic cooperation thing to do for me 🥰
If you are a fan of ramen like me and you want to eat the best ramen in London, you have to drive away a bit from the center. The best ramen in London !! I recommend 100% !!
Stumbled across this gem of a place in Bermondsey by accident but very glad I did. Enjoyed a delicious double-pork ramen dish - generously filled with sheets of thinly sliced pork belly and a heap of pork mince (and a perfectly cooked egg). Warming and spicy. I drained the bowl, even finishing off the giant chilli, which was sweet rather than hot hot. With a little pot of soya ice cream to finish. Perfect lunch!
This may be the best tasting ramen I've ever had. I got the beef bone broth monthly special, and upon that first taste, all I could do was smile. While in an industrial/container park, the creative way this space was converted into a ramen joint adds to its coziness and enjoyable atmosphere.
It's a really nice, hidden restaurant amongst piles of clean laundry. Good staff, reasonable (slightly high) prices, easy to get a table. Really recommend as the food is exceptional
