Diwana Bhel Poori House - London - Photo album

Amazing food served in a relaxed, unpretentious setting. Try their delicious selection of dosas or their legendary curry of the day. Authentic, efficient and reasonably priced. A Drummond Street institution.
I have been coming here for forty years. The food is lovely and the staff great. No longer eat there as often as I would like. Dosas are always delicious but it's the buffet I go for when I can. Never had a bad meal. Reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommend.
Delicious Dosas on Drummond Street Great tasting South Indian dosas - perfect for a quick meal before catching the train from Euston. It’s worth making the effort to get past the HS2 works along the pedestrian route to Drummond Street. Authentic food (vegetarian) made by friendly people at a reasona
A true hidden gem for vegetarian food, this place keeps the tradition of service industry keeping everything so simple that the focus has been on food , one of the best places in London for BYOB ! Always a delight to eat great food cheap and wash it down with something you like! I have been coming h
The food was very authentic and very good, literally amazing! I will definitely go and eat there again. The service could definitely do better, maybe with a smile on their face too?😃
First time at Diwana and it didn't disappoint. Tucked away around the back of Euston station you'd never know it was there but thankfully our friend is a regular here and recommended we tag along. Diwana is not your regular Indian restaurant, its no frills approach to decor allows you to concentrate
Having been here, on special occasions, as a child (about 30 years ago), it is lovely to frequent this place again (been twice in the last 3 years). Back in the 1980's there wasn't many Vegetarian Restaurants, hence we'd travel into London for our "fix" as a treat. To be fair, nothing's changed and
Visited because I heard how great the samosas were. I was not disappointed. It was reassuringly busy, this was a Monday night so I will probably reserve a table next time to make sure I don't miss out. I went for a Thali which was fantastic. The matar paneer was a definite highlight...
One of the best south Indian restaurants In London. Great food, in a typical Indian atmosphere, with reasonable prices & a great selection. The lunch buffet is amazing for choice & value for money. Vegetarian food only, and no alcohol served, but you can bring your own beer & wine, with no corkage c
We had an amazing dinner experience at this restaurant. We ordered 2 Thali’s. Food was like homemade and tasty. Staff was also very polite.
Visited after many years, enjoyed the street food and dosas available.
Came in here for the lunch buffet. Food was great, had 2 plates or varied dishes, starters, salad, pickles and 2 chutney for £12.95. Great value, nice home-style cooking. Couldn't fault the place. I will be back!
This is our favorite vegetarian restaurant on Drummond Street near Euston Station. We usually catch the scrumptious lunch buffet, but occasionally come for dinner like on this occasion. We ordered the special and were not disappointed. There were generous portions of curries, pakoras, and sweet opti
Excellent menu! Food and service was fabulous! OK to bring your own beer or wine No alcohol served. Very popular and lively place! We loved it! Great location.
Excellent food, great value and love being able to BYOB. Staff were very friendly. This isn't a fancy restaurant but that's reflected in the price and we probably enjoyed ourselves more.
